It's funny that you defeated the Abyss Watchers on your first try and then got stuck on the Demon King, probably the easiest non-gimmick boss in the game. Always full of surprises.

@@justsomeone883 we perceive boss difficulty very differently then. For me Sulyvhan is the 3rd/4th hardest non-DLC boss in the game, the old demon king is a punching bag that you kill because he's there.

I played though DSIII for the first time last month. The hardest part was trying to kill Lothric Knights when low level, I swear they are tougher then most of the early bosses. The second most frustrating part of the game was running through the outside portion of Cathedral of the deep.

Just got into from software games after trying out elden ring and loving it. Am i foolish to think this all looks quite manageable after dealing with relentless aggression from elden ring bosses, interspersed with the occasional poke from me? I struggled so hard with Abyss watchers my first time. But they are the start of some of the strongest, as in best, bosses in soulsborne games. (Definitely a few mid tier bosses thrown in there)
