You can purging stones from a guy at the bell tower after the gargoyles cheaper than the old woman, also hold O/B on your controller while climbing down ladders to get down really quickly.

Part of the reason you are struggling is because of your equip load, try taking off some of your armor more often and then you will have a faster roll with more invincibility frames and overall makes you faster. Makes the game easier. btw great series man

The G returns with the best weapon! If the name is hard to say for you, just call it Zwei, or the Bass Cannon. That's a very old meme but everyone loves it. Here's a tip for the mimic chests: Just hit every chest with the overhead slam before trying to open it. If it's fake you do damage, if not no problem.

A good way to check for mimics is to look at the chain coming off the right side of the chest, if the end is pointing to the front then it's a mimic and if it curves to the back then it's a normal chest.

If you didn't know, you can challenge the mimic chests and fight them and they will usually drop great loot. the one you found in sen's fortress has something decent inside

You need to check for a cell under the firelink shrine bonfire, you'll see the actual fire keepers loot and how to re-light the bonfire. Also, punch the chests with your bare hand to tell if it's a mimic

You can tell if a chest is a trap by the way the chain on the side is pointing, if it’s pointing towards you it’s a trap, if it’s pointing away it’s safe

You can actually get Quelaag's sword, but you need to upgrade curved sword (a falchion or a scimitar is easiest) to +10 and bring it to a later blacksmith. You also need Quelaags soul to do so, so don't go using it. Also check the grate in the wall just below where the bonfire is at firelink shrine. Remember that guy you freed and said, 'man I don't know if I can trust this guy'? unfortunately, you cannot.

You can light firelink shrine bonfire if you invaded and killed golden knight in anor lando so you can return fire keeper to make bonfire work again

That's what you getting for taking shittiest Blighttown entrance lol. But seems you got lucky, first time i took wrong turn which lead me to Blighttown campfire from where i searched for descent for almost 2 hours even when local population wasn't a much of issue. At this point i'd advise to make trip to scellies for upgrade to 20 flasks. Remember to bring decent shield!
