Congrats! Bell Gargoyle was my first big roadblock. Love seeing new players work their way through. Upgrading weapons is very helpful. And then vitality, endurance, and either strength or dexterity to scale with your weapon

vitality = hp endurance = stamina and equipment load (the higher it is the better armor u can wear while still fast rolling) strength = for using/increasing the damage for strength-based weapons like clubs and greatswords dex = for using/increasing damage for other weapons like katanas and rapiers and whips

For the skeletons to not respawn you need weapons that are Divine basically it just doesnt make them ressurect or you can kill the necromancers and also make them stop but divine weapons are way better to use, a divine emeber is after you kill the moonlight butterfly and you can give it to andre to make him able to ascend your weapons to divine but they need to upgraded to +5 to do this and you need a green titanite shard which you will find soon.

You actually are strong enough to use the zweihander! When two handing a weapon your strength is multiplied (I think by 1.5x) so if you’re a little under the strength requirement you can two hand it and use it like you have the right stat!

you can also get a summons below the stairs--hidden under some bushes is a witch who has a ranged attack-afterwards go up and get the loot from the dead blacksmith-then go back to undead burg and use the key you got earlier near that armored pig-thats pretty much where I am as well- I have had this game for years and barely started it for the first time-its tough, but fun-glad to see I am not the only one who dies often. I still fail at plunging attacks, so Taurus was a pain until I used the resin-

heck yeahhh ur doing awesome >:DDDD ur improving so muchhhhh u destroyed those gargoyless as a bit of a tip, if u seem like ur getting stuck at a dead end (like theres nowhere that seems like ur supposed to go) then u might have to backtrack and try using a key u picked up somewhere in a previous area. theres a couple of points in all the souls games where u need to do some backtracking to open a locked door. The item descriptions for key items give hints/sometimes just tell u what they open.

Ur doing really good I'm enjoying this series also don't go into the catacombs yet that's a latter area in the game also that thing where the giant knight puts his sword and shield up it slows you downalso the moonlight butterfly if you want to attack it you have to wait for it to come down and rest so you can hit it also if you are human (you have to use humanity to reverse hollowing) you can summon phamtons to help you with a boss fight for example when you talk to Solaire you can summon him for a boss fight like the bell gargoyles

- Don't worry about upgrading armor until you know 100% that it's the armor you're gonna use until the end of the game. Plus you gotta make sure your fit is hard first. Fashion first, stats second. - Your dodge gets slower if you wear heavy armor and weapons. Make sure to at least keep your equip load below 50% for a decent dodge. Leveling Endurance will increase your max equip load, and make it easier to wear heavy armor without getting slowed down - Try out every weapon just to see if you like how they feel. You always want a weapon that's fun to swing - if the stats suck, you can upgrade it after and make it not suck, but the important thing is that it doesn't feel janky to swing around. - Once you know what weapon you like, then just level whichever stat the weapon works best with (higher grade is better -> A or S is the best ) - you can upgrade weapons with weird stuff like Holy or Fire, but unless you have a good reason to do that, the Normal upgrade is the best because it just increases your physical damage.

I remember i farmed hours for the MOTH boss. And when i finally beat her then i went down for te first bell after defeating SPIDER boss. Then i came up and saw those Gargoyles. But i was so overleveled and powerful that it took like 10 seconds max. :D

What took so long to farm hours for moth boss? Genuinly curious, boss is super annoying but pretty easy - just spam rolled during it's attacks and waited for moth to land from exhaustion, 1st try.

I suggest you getting the weapon Zweihandler thats in the area that you showed at the very start of the video, its the best weapon that literally carries you to the endgame. Idk the weapon is somewhere thats on the tombstone
