Indeed he even said that his comment was in no way disrespect towards the VA, he just said that they were so close to perfection with Brant having the Spanish music in the background, yet Brant himself doesn't have a Spanish accent. Though... that does make sense since he's an actor, sometimes to play a role, you need to hide an accent. That or Brant's ancestors were originally foreigners and the lack of an accent is because of said foreign origins.

i expected the reaction to Brant's voice, because I remember how excited you were and repeatedly say pls have an accent. I honestly wanted him to have accent too when I first heard him, but he has grown on me later on. Cant wait for your next stream.

as an artist myself, it mostly comes to how well you "sell" it. it does not have to be what ppl expect it to be, but smth that impresses regardless. he dees have that swagger attitude in his speech, like a pirate of sorts. perhaps with a bit of time, he can grow into it. as we can. but it might be that we still associate pirates with a very dirty mouthed, ill tempered and inarticulate lot. he is not a pirate by choice, nor does he steal from other people. i see it as a reimagined concept. or that he plays the role of a pirate, not that he IS one. the only 3 things i see even close to him being a pirate are 1. he drinks, 2. he gambles and 3. he dresses up like one.

i think abby might be a sentinel. like each sentinel was a past summon of our MC before they decided to "try again". abby is a baby sentinel! it's why it can devour strong echos and absorb catastrophe level threats it's a widdle baby sentinel! also i theorize that past mc is going to be the original villain behind everything. it's why hes so determined to fix it all. he didn't crap on brant's voice or voice actor. he said it was a good voice. he's just disappointed brant doesn't have an accent. hoping for an accent from a game that by now, at least, has 3 different accents (which other games of similar style typically doesn't do) is completely normal. being disappointed that it doesn't is also normal

@isskamiria8978 Okay, imagine seeing a picture of someone, they're dressed and look a certain way so you build up a voice in humour head but then you meet them, their voice is different and you go "NOOOOOOOOO, why don't you have a different accent? Why do you sound like that" and you think that's not insulting the voice actor, by then also doing his own voice acting with a Spanish accent. Is there something about a pirate captain that screams Spanish all of a sudden? Wait until he hears and insults Roccia for not being Italian despite saying Mamma Mia.

Im LOVING Wuwa 2.0 and all the characters so far, but I will say that Brant not getting an accent (Spanish, Italian, etc.) was a missed opportunity when they did it for others like Zani who sounds soooo good 😭😭🥲🥲

Maybe they tried but the voice actors were bad and so they picked a good one. Or maybe Kurt wanted a variety of accents just like they did. Of course people can never be happy.

He never said he wasn't happy? All he suggested was an accent for Brant like the others. I think Brants original voice acting is nice, but would be better with an accent. Its called tips and feedback.
