So, in case you may be wondering why Sora's voice is different. This version of the game was released later than KH2. And so, Haley Joel Osment got a bit older. The original GBA version was very simple and text based with minimiun prerendered cutscenes. This version was called Re:Chain of Memories and it was brought out on the PS2 and was given a style close to KH1, and may even had used some of kH2 character models as well. Anyway, enjoy the story!

@Xeno_Solarus So, to give a timeline of games, KH1 was released in 2002. KH Chain of Memories was released on the GBA in 2004. KH2 was released in 2005. KH Re: Chain of Memories was released in 2007 in Japan and in the US in 2008.

Axel is iconic even from his introduction 💚 we love a chaotic spy. Have you noticed that the organisation members have unique weapons and elemental powers, it's so cool. Which elemental power would you have?

The original version somehow managed to pack CG cutscenes like the first scene into the GBA cartridge. The gameplay style is controversial, but allowed the game to run smoothly. Games with more popular systems fell victim to massive slowdown. If you compare Axel's coat to that of the first person, you can see some notable differences. Each person can be recognized by their coat alone. Axel's catchphase used to be "Commit it to memory". If Haley's delivery sounds off, it's because the English version didn't change the characters' lip movement.

With 54:39, I always figured Sora was speaking more along the lines of intense Deja Vu. Memories, but not really memories. Just a feeling that it's happened before.

Regarding the order to play/watch the games on the collection you have, I HIGHLY suggest playing KH2 before watching 358/2 days. For some weird reason they put KH2 after 358/2 days on the menu list despite KH2 being released 4 years earlier. You (or anyone) would be totally lost watching 358/2 days first.

Well.. I think the idea is,,chronologically Days takes place mostly before KH2. It's the background information on characters and story beats you may not get otherwise. But yeah, chronologically it takes place before KH2

@@CrazeeAdam Yeah, it's background information. But it's information you don't need until you've actually met and spent time with these characters, otherwise, it's just this long winded melodrama involving people we don't even know yet. Release date always wins for me lol.

As far as I know, the reason why they put KH2 after 358/2 days is because both collections had 2 games and 1 movie each instead of having a collection with 3 games and a collection with 2 movies and 1 game.

Has anyone told you about the secret content in KH1? When you get to KH2, early on it will flash back and allude to one of those moments in particular, so you might be confused when that happens. If you have any channel mods or KH friends, you might wanna ask them a good, non spoilery way to catch up on that bit if you're curious.

All things considered with the gameplay for this one. It sort of plays like kh1, a little floatier as it was remade by the new team. But each attack you do uses a card. Its more of a resource management game than anything

magnificent! It excites me so much that you;re going through the kingdom hearts experience. I watched your whole playthrough of KH1 and loved every minute of it. A quick side note is that every KH game has pretty major secrets in them, and sometime multiple. In KH1 the organization is actually introduced as a secret superboss fight, and the secret ending you can obtain when achieving a certain amount of things also shows the organization. Love your playthrough Jade!

Oh boy, um...there's still more for you to watch. There's actually a second playthrough of the game called Reverse/Rebirth where you play as Riku, and there's plenty of story that happens there too that's just as important going into KIngdom Hearts II.

So.. There's 1 more game you may want to watch before KH2 or you can do it after.. But KH: 358/2 days, as oddly as it's labeled is pretty heavy on story. It's included in the Kingdom Hearts collection or you could find it on KZbin too. It takes place almost right before KH2 though. But chronologically people have different preferences on when to watch it.. So maybe look up online if you're interested!

Actually, lots of fans attest that it’s better to experience 358/2 Days after playing KH2. Mostly because some of 358/2 Days’s story actually depends on you knowing the story of KH 2.

I was really wondering if you really gonna play this one. 😅 I understand why you didn’t, but I wished you did. 🙈 Yeah, this in particular is a remake of a GameBoy Advance game. Which also came out for the PS2. Well, if it means quickly catching up with the story to get to KH2 so be it. Don’t rush your way to it, but I definitely can’t wait for you to start that one. 😄

Yeah, I’m really interested so far myself especially since I only know or knew what I know about Namine based on the second game… which is somehow completely different? Or maybe what’s really throwing me off is how they called her a witch-I definitely think that line was thrown in specifically for the game, but then again I’m pretty sure this one came out quite a while after KH2 When Axel was talking to Namine he said that she was a nobody just like them, I have a very strong theory about this, but explaining the whole thing would probably be a terrible spoiler but all I’m gonna say is that if she is a nobody- well dammit, I don’t think you have any of the information yet because it all comes out in the second game and maybe here too I don’t know because I’ve never played this game.

Great video as always! A bit disappointed that you decided to watch. In my personal opinion, this game gets a lot of hate because it's not as easy as KH1 and its right before KH2 so people suggest to simply skip it and watch the cutscenes. The card system is not turned based. It's an action rpg. It is pretty fun once you get the hang of it but, totally understandable you want to skip it. Sucks you didnt give it a try before doing this but, it is what it is. Hope you enjoy the rest of it❤️

​@@JadeJoob- Yeah, I would reccomend getting around to playing it eventually because theres a lot of non-voiced cutscenes that arent in this cutscene compilation. They are just kinda fun to see and relate to what's going on in the castle with some cool details and such if you look for them (explaining further how the memories actully work, disney character appearances, showing Sora's memory decay more, ect.). However so long as you've got the basic, most important story parts I'm sure you'll be fine going into the next games.
