my first time reaction to mitski - lush album reaction part 1

omg mitski! i love her a lot-- she's my favorite artist-- but i'm not entirely sure if ALL of her discography will be to your taste from what i can tell. her albums kinda work in sets of 2-- lush & retired from sad, new career in business are very piano-heavy and slow; bury me at makeout creek and puberty 2 are distinctively more punk and rock, though there are still VERY emotive slow gems; be the cowboy and laurel hell are very 80s-inspired and electronic, with plenty of sad bops. the one consistent thing though is her wonderful writing-- as long as you're okay with the large span of genres
