Director and Vietnam Veteran, Mac Singleton hear “Anymore” and contacted Travis about a concept of using his three songs (Anymore - Tell me I was Dreaming - If I lost you) and use this as Mac’s story of what Veterans go through when they return from war. When my mom died 15 years ago I was a stupid teenager and the last time I talked to my mom we were fighting and I know it sounds weird but this was a song that helped me get past her death. This man, Travis is the ultimate performer. I saw him live in Grand Junction, CO at Country Jam years ago. He followed Reba (stellar performance, as well) and sang a full hour and half past the end of the show. /We were under the stars late at night and his voice just cut through the darkness. It was powerful. And speaking of Reba, she was just as impressive. All that volume out of a little wisp of a woman. Best concert I’ve ever attended.

If you get a chance you need to check out Vince Gill. His song whenever you come around is good place to start. I'm sure you will also get a lot of requests for Go Rest High on that Mountain. He wrote that song after his brother and another country singer Keith Whitley passed away. Ricky Skaggs and either Patty Loveless or Allison Krause provide accompanying harmony that with make you say wow more than you usually do LOL. Depends on the version you choose on which lady is singing. The official video is Patty I believe.

found you tonight for the first time from another song, after originally looking for reactions to this song. Your reaction to Cowgirls Don't Cry absolutely floored me. I have loved the song for years and it is my 2yr old daughters favorite song. My wife lost her dad shortly after we met and I never associated the song as emotional to her until I saw your reaction. She is so stoic and strong that it didn't connect for me. As soon as I came across your reaction to that, I started binge watching your reactions and a lot of them are to songs/videos that I have shared with her.
