this is sooo exciting! guys, i just did the same thing, but Ho Chi Minh to Hanoi, last month. Avoid the coast down south, it's too busy with trucks and many many police controls, they can be a bit sketchy. PLUS, the mountains following the border down to Ho Chi Minh are insanely gorgeous, and the little villages very remote and special!

But I'm planning a trip to either Vietnam or Thailand for 1 month, and I really am confused about which one will be more fun for me. - I'm not into clubs, parties, bars, nightlife, restaurants, chilling 24/7 on the beach, etc. - I'm into tropical landscapes, nature, attractions, sea, ziplines, water sports, animals, diving (open to fill types of attractions, and maybe even a little extreme, such as diving with sharks and such), etc. Which one you think will be better for me?

Nice job everyone. My wife and I did a Vespa tour in Italy recently with the thought that we would each take turns driving or have our own to drive. When we were doing the little test drives before starting out Karen did not feel like she could safely drive one since she had never driven anything like it and it seemed like her hands wanted to do the opposite of what was necessary. So I drove and it was more natural for me since I had a motor bike growing up and she enjoyed riding behind. So kudos to you Aimee for even taking all this on. You have inspired lessons in the future though. Blessings for a smooth, safe, and fun journey.

Aimee, I can’t imagine what hope and encouragement you provide for those living with anxiety. You provide such an example of knowing when to push yourself and when to be gentle with yourself. Sometimes it’s super hard and often it’s messy but you do it and it makes every one of your adventures all the more brilliant. I’ll never see Vietnam, not because of anxiety but because I do NOT do humidity EVER, so this was such great fun to see. I must admit however, this first day has me exhausted so I’m gonna have a sleep on my SOFT mattress.

I loved Vietnam when I went there a couple years ago. I really love watching this series because it's making me nostalgic. Also, the beds are hard everywhere in Vietnam. But I will say when I was there I had ZERO back pain.

I travelled from HCM City to Hanoi on a motorbike back in 2018 whilst travelling in South East Asia. I think it was the best experience of my life. Great memories of the interactions with the people there and a completely different way to see a country. 10/10 would recommend and might even do again. Looking forward to the rest of this series, enjoy!

Here I am pissing myself getting a bike in Portugal where there is literally no people on the roads and you wo go to the capital of motorbikes on the road in the world with little to no experience and about to cross the bloody country. 10 years almost to the day that we completed the same trip, so weird seeing it all again. I remember visiting the same motorbike shed, back then they didn't hire bikes that I remember of and ended up buying a Suzuki from another place. Glad to see that you brought gloves, I didn't understand till a few days in and my hands looked like roast chicken 😳. Vietnam, was probably one of the best adventures of my life, thanks for bringing it all back. So much to see but hope you get to see and spend time out at sea in Halon Bay and perhaps try some climbing or just visit the floating villages. Have fun.

Please remember that in this season in Vietnam it usually rains heavily after 4pm and lasts about 30 minutes, please be safe Most people in Vietnam use locomotives, so there will be a lot of traffic around 7:00 am and 4:00 pm every day, you can avoid this period

You guys are already REALLY making me miss Vietnam with this series! Lived there for a year. Super cheap, amazing nature, incredible food..and those super hard beds! 😂 Vietnam was actually the place that made me fall in love with hard beds! Had them in our apartment, and once we got used to em', we had the best sleeps. Good for your back. 🛌 Only thing I'd say is I hope you're all super careful with those bikes. Wasn't even in Vietnam for a week, and drove by an motorcycle accident- guys head was cracked open like a watermelon over the highway. 😬 Good luck, and stay safe.
