Bleach: hollows = excruciating death and after life torture, eventually losing oneself. Dragon ball: planet or universe could be blown up any second + much death + not even safe in the afterlife. The list goes on, in any case being a normal civilian in any shonen anime is equivalent to a death sentence or at least excruciating trauma eventually if you aren’t lucky.

Always felt that part of the key to his strength was the "10km run every single day". Bro lives in City Z, a place that slowly became so overwhelmed with monster activity that he is basically the only person still living there. the reason for the sad music after the Boros fight is obvious once you think about it. Boros traveled the galaxy for decades looking for a challenge and didn't find it until he fought Saitama. Since Boros was the strongest being Saitama ever fought, that means that he too could spend decades searching far beyond into space and would never find anyone worth fighting

The reason why saitama is so strong is due to his muscle training he removed his limiter which means he is no longer bond to the laws of physics it wasn't the training it was the intensity of the training he can also grow exponentially if he fights a strong opponent

saitama's power according to my reasoning skills and detective ones is as followed saitama lives in a world where an OBSESSION ( but think of in a very broad way) for example the crab/lobster man villain in 1st episode gives out the hint he became that way because he loved eating lobster/crab so turned into one, then you got ppl who got psyker powers some transformation others are martial arts as thats to pursue power which can also be obsession , other gained some sort of superpower / skills from what they love like from hobbies for example the bat man superhero xD you also got one that shoot like marbles ect ect so the world mechanics has the following effect upon the world it can transform the OBSESSION of anything into a higher form and manifest itself in the person , on the world - thus saitama's obsession since childhood was ' been able to send villains away with one punch' since he was the first one apparently i assume that he manifested a growth type power and due to all his experience it grew into invincibility, basically he became the unmoving object and the unstoppable object at same time :)

The craziest thing is that beefcake (the giant in episode 1) is probably one of the strongest monsters we've seen in opm so far. He was easily 2-3km tall, destroyed towns with an arm swipe. Despite being so big, his punches are FTE. This guy could stomp on the elder centipede like its nothing.

My favorite theory about Saitama's strength is the theory of broken limits. Every person has a limit to their strength, and Saitama trained literally to the brink of death because his limit was so low. Eventually, his limits simply stopped working and he broke free of them. That's why when Saitama meets a really strong opponent, like Boros, it takes him some time to "get to his level". This means that his strength works on the principle of "my opponent's strength + 100".

That's not a theory anymore lmao. It's been confirmed that Saitama broke his limiter and that's why he's so strong. Also, Saitama was already far stronger than Boros before he met him. The only time Saitama actually had to grow to surpass an opponent was when he fought Cosmic Fear Garou. And even then, Saitama started off stronger. Garou was playing catch up that entire fight. And, no his strength does not work on the principle of "my opponent's strength + 100". He is constantly growing in strength, and the rate of growth becomes faster and faster the more he becomes fired up. His opponent's strength only matters in the sense that they have to be strong enough to get him fired up in the first place.
