LOL I have actually heard others say that as well… There’s a little device has been absolutely amazing and a real game changer when it comes to preparing meals at my campsite. It cook that much more evenly and because of that I’m able to have a lot of different things at previously would have either been very hard to create or might have not tasted as good because of the cooking time.

I have more weight then I should and it’s fine. I also bought cross bars for 99$ on Amazon. All good! And gas is $4. 87 and up in Los Angeles. If that makes you feel a lil better? Lol thanks and have fun 😊

I take my signs off pretty regularly so I don’t have this happening. Every so often I forgot to take them off like at the car wash like I did hear however for the most part I take them off at least every couple of days and kind of just move them around or if I’m camping a lot I take them on and off so that people don’t know that I am in the van when I need stealth.

Looks like the place I spent a couple of nights about 5 years ago. No special events at the time and my first time there. I don't have a toilet with me so I thought I'd go into town for the last time the first night. After circling around the camping area a couple of times, and not finding my way out, or the site I was at, I had to just suck it up and settle in. I couldn't make out the tire marks and that driving past the dried creek at an angle on the way in threw me off. But I tell you what, you can't beat the starry nights there.

Bunny you would need to prep no matter where you were going; it’s not as if Q requires more prep. You make it sound like a big job to go to Q.
@BunnyPlaysHere2 жыл бұрын
I think we’re going into a city that you’ve never been to especially when being told about possible supply shortages it is a bigger endeavor. I clearly always am prepping for every place that I go and that’s a parent through my videos. However with this particular travel I was point-blank told by others that the gas was far more expensive and that sometimes the shelves were pretty empty. I think you’ll see through my videos however that as we went to a grocery store there were in fact still things there however prices were much higher. Which is why a lot of people warn you in advance to get your things. Just to kind of give you an idea something that normally would cost three dollars another town was five dollars in this town. It’s not that it’s wrong it’s not that it’s a harder trip it’s just that supply and demand because there are so many people who come to town at the same time.

It was our first time at Q also. I know we were there at the same time but our paths didn't cross. Hopefully next year. Alaska! I want to go to Alaska too.
@BunnyPlaysHere2 жыл бұрын
I actually started with the patches recently because I felt overwhelmed by magnets in the back… The patches are kind of fun because it uses a part of the van that typically I don’t have anything in it and so it gives it a nice vibrant color and a pop of who I am. I attach them with Velcro that can be removed and it does not tear up the headliner or devalue the van has a whole which I like

Hi Bunny, if you are still in the area, check out Kofa National Wildlife Refuge. It’s down 30 miles south of Quartzsite on 95. Turn left on Palm Canyon Rd . There is a really cool Spiral Labyrinth 2.8 miles down on the right. Keep going to the end, lots of Saguara cactus and cholla cactus, along with amazing mountains! Free 14 day camping too!

Someone else was just telling me about the labyrinth I’m very interested so I’m gonna try to check it out. I have a long list on this trip so we’ll see what all I can get out of the way

I absolutely love your adventurous spirit. Dimples is looking pretty good, you’re a great owner. Have not made it out to Quartzite yet, thank you for the heads up before arriving. 💜☀️🌵

It’s super fun so far and I’ve really been enjoying it. The events that are going on are very educational for those who are new to the road and for those who are a little bit more seasoned there are tons of things to do outside of the events. I have really been enjoying most perhaps seeing all of my amazing friends that I have met along the way and being able to spend some time with them doing things that are pretty normal LOL
@corinnejarboe32812 жыл бұрын
Yes, because there is NO car wash in Quartzsite yet. Along with many things, Quartzsite does not have a Walmart or car wash. There are several laundromats and gas stations, water fill-ups (where you will Wait in line and remember your patience.

I agree they are missing a few things… I definitely didn’t want the bird poop to stay on my van and ruined my paint job baking in the sun LOL so that’s why it was so important

Thank you so much! My goal is always just to inspire others to get out there and try something new so I’m hoping that if you’re watching that you feel compelled to try at least one thing that is different either in your own backyard or on a road trip of your own

Oh the road is bad-the road is bad!!!! ****need more info on THAT**** hope to do it next year, have a very low hanging class B-camper van, clearance is 6-8 inches, those pot holes looked to be 9 1/2!!!!!
@BunnyPlaysHere2 жыл бұрын
It is a bit rough to say the least but I also have low clearance and made it just fine and also have seen others similarly moving over it with ease…. Just slow and steady

Thank you so much all of my shirts I do custom and I really enjoy putting them together. It’s super fun for me to be able to design something that makes me smile and then to eventually be able to share it with others.

@@BunnyPlaysHere I'm strongly hearing impaired and completely deaf in my left ear and often need to use ASL American Sign Language to communicate, so seeing your shirt and a couple movements of your hands had me smiling and beaming and made me feel so happy :) You are such an awesome incredible person ❤❤✌💕

Hey Bunny. Love your videos and your enthusiasm. If one can't get a hold of a ridgemonkey would an old school sandwich maker work?
@BunnyPlaysHere2 жыл бұрын
That is a very good question… The reason why Ridge monkey is so unique is because of their closing device. It allows less of a liquid or moisture to escape and that’s it in fuses your food with more flavor. So I’m not sure if a traditional sandwich maker would work the same way and have the same results. I know the concept is similar but they really have done something great with this

I wish I had taken the time to go to one of the early RTRs, but as I'm not a fan of crowds and the RTR has grown so HUGE, it is not something I see myself attending. However, never say never. I know there's more to Quartzite than the RTR, and there are also far less crowded places in Arizona. I'll be more likely to visit one of those other places. But that's just me.

I think the fun for me more so will be that I’m going to be around people that I know and meeting new people. Not so much the Event and South. I feel like the topics that they cover our wonderful for those getting started and a very good direction Elizer for them to make sure that it’s something that they’re interested in doing however for me having been on the road for five years a lot of the information is redundant. It’s a great resource and I absolutely am thankful that they do have it however your social aspect is more of my focus while I’m here

@@BunnyPlaysHere The friends part would be great, but more than 6 people at a time and I get more and more uncomfortable. I am glad they put it all together for the people who enjoy it, just not my thing. And that's okay too. Have fun!!

I found the link for the ridgemonkey sandwich cooker. I ordered one and I will have it before my next campout . Can't wait to use it. The link I found lead me to the Canadian Amazon page. It is coming from Canada, $48 and change.

I’m thinking about getting removable signs. May I ask what size yours are, how much you paid, and where?
@BunnyPlaysHere2 жыл бұрын
I picked these up through Vista print. I had a really good deal and typically you can find a good deal by simply looking on retail me not for Vista print coupons so for the both of them I spent about as much as normally would pay for one sign at another place
