LOL "traditional lecturing" -- Once my professor/lecturer for my World War I class had technical issues with the computer and projector, so he gave an old-fashioned lecture without slides. I'm sure it was an ordeal for my classmates as he also had a thick Russian accent (which made him fun to listen to NGL), but I honestly got way more out of this lecture because I forced myself to focus on what he's saying, and I didn't feel constrained by a skeletal PowerPoint. Ah the memories 🥲🥲 Also your blue scarf is so pretty, and the town is so lovely! 😁

it really does force you to pay attention, which is great when you're fresh and ready to work, but not so easy after a full day of studying haha. Aww thank you, I'm really glad you like my scarf it was a birthday gift two years ago:) Oxford is super super pretty, happy you enjoyed the video xx

Glad for you! Could u answer, if u got grant or u paid? and also, do u have fear of being incapable to continue in such hard academic conditions? Thank u!
@PolinasPages15 күн бұрын
thank you! It's always a worry that you will not be able to handle the academic pressure, but everyone is very supportive, so if you want to try for it, just go for it! best of luck with your application if you're applying

Heyyy, love your vlog🫶🫶🫶. I was wondering if every college has like its own law- teaching system? Bc tbh I don’t get it. Thankssss
@PolinasPages2 ай бұрын
hiya!! thanks:) all colleges for law teach three modules the first year: Roman, Criminal, Constitutional. The order in which they teach may be different though. My college does Roman and Criminal first. But all colleges have the tutorial system, it's an Oxford staple. Hope this helps x

hey polina! may i ask why you chose law+french law over studying english literature ? :)))
@PolinasPages3 ай бұрын
Hi! I would like to do english literature for my masters and phd, so I thought I would pursue law, especially because I am interested in the intersections between law and literature. Many great writers chose a career in law first, and I am inspired to follow in their footsteps:)
