I was on accutane for six months and all you need to know is moisturise moisturise moisturise! My sister didn't suffer with dryness as much as me but it really dried out my entire body and I used to have combination oily skin before and now my skin is dry dehydrated. Also make sure you stay out of the sun and wear factor 50 even if you're not in the sun for very long. I hope it works well for you because it completely cured mine and mine was completely covering my face badly because mine was genetic. Good luck!!!

Grace, the outer layer of the Little Moons is “mochi” which is made from pounded rice, it’s a Japanese thing.

Accutane was the best decision I ever made. It was such an amazing feeling looking in the mirror and not wanting to cry and being able to touch my face without it hurting or bleeding.

I totally understand how you feels Grace, I have eczema and I relate to that ‘everyday feels different’ thing. Skin issues can really dampen your confidence, it’s really hard to explain to people who don’t have the same issues.

Everyone has their own battles, no battle is more important than someone else’s. You hang in there! You are so awesome for sharing this. You probably have helped many and given encouragement to so many people!

I did accutane for 6 or 8 months and my lips, oh brother, my lips. I tried EVERYTHING that all the you tubers recommended: Taylor Wynn’s advice was the only advice that worked. Forget all the others, Aquaphor changed my life. Cerave was not strong enough. I’m finished acccutane and I still use aquaphor it is so wonderful

Gastronomical prices in Waitrose 😂😂😂 Freudian slip. Did you mean astronomical or were you being ironic. I can't tell 🤔❤️

I'm so sorry you feel the need to defend the decision :( you have to do what's right for you, meds have nasty side effects all the time but if it helps you it's worth it and only you can make that decision for yourself. Wishing you all the best on this

Totally random but lansinoh HPA lanolin nipple cream is the BEST for chapped lips 🙌🏻🙌🏻 I’m a midwife lol and if u think about it it treats extremely sore cracked dry nipples. You seriously won’t look back!

I've never struggled with acne, but I've definitely dealt with other insecurities with my skin and body (like everyone else haha) but I learned that you should always do what feels right for your body and don't listen to others who want to tell you what you should do, because its your body and you're the one who has to live with it, not them. So do what makes you feel happy and health in your own skin!! Everyone is different and unique and that's what makes this world so beautiful! :)

It for sure works but keep an eye on your mental health along with everything else. It's one of the lesser known side-effects that really got me.

Hi Grace! That feeling you were describing with acne is so true, I’ve dealt with acne for quite some time and these days it’s kind of under control, let’s say. But that’s exactly what you were trying to describe, just feeling down and all. I love that you are talking about this and know that you’re not alone in this! Although I think you look quite confident with your skin anyway and believe me, your confidence conceals your acne completely ! I think you look great with and without it! I’m happy for you that you decided to go on accutane, not an easy choice but you’ll feel great when this is over 😊

I’ve struggled with acne and I’ve always found it so inspiring the way that you never try to cover up your spots. It shows so much confidence and I think you’re a positive example for so many young women. Nonetheless, I am glad that you are doing what is going to make you feel better about yourself and taking the time to document it for us.

spf recommedation for your face: la roche posay!! I use the anti-imperfections spf 50 one every day and it helps with acne marks and has never broken me out. They sell it in boots but it is a lil pricey but worth it imo

Tuesday’s are my favorite day of the week as well!! Has been since I was young because my mom worked nights and I would never see her, but she had every Tuesday off and that was our day💕🙌🏼 love you Grace!

I stopped taking accutane a little over a month ago. (Was on them for nine months.) I also had many tell me not to start, cause of the side effects. BUT you never know, how you react on them before you try them. I only had REALLY dry lips and then I started getting dry skin after month 7. I am very happy I didn't get scared of people telling me not to start. Cause man... I was sad about my skin!!
