Lots of negative comments and I get that this interview didn’t flow well but I used to be in a trading group with Christian so I’m going to defend him here. He’s young at trading and young in general. Probably never been interviewed before. Probably nervous. If you listen, there are a few gems here. He got better AFTER he started acting like a full time trader. Waking up at 4am. Watching the markets obsessively. Watching the London session as well as New York. Distracting himself with a Rubik’s cube during a trade so he doesn’t get in his own way and allow the trade to work. Didn’t use leverage until he started experiencing some success and etc. Its in there if you listen.

I really don’t understand the comments below.Aaron clearly stated that this is a series for brand new traders. Of course they won’t have the experience or vocabulary of a seasoned battle hardened trader. You should not be learning from them but relate to the struggles and success that are having compared to your own. That’s the point. Pompous enough ? 🙄

These comments are ridiculous. I enjoyed the interview because it gave another perspective that is not often covered. There was a lot of positive insight to be taken away from this interview. The trading community is full of “genius” traders who are way too egotistical. The comments sort of exemplify all of these people. They can’t step back and appreciate someone who is not from the same background as themselves. Everyone starts from a different reality. I don’t see that appreciation from many people.

Volume data is meaningless in forex since the market is decentralized , there is no central exchange where data is sent to. No other broker knows what you are doing. The volume data you see in your indicator is only the local volume from your broker.

Yikes there’s a lot I could say but I’m sure it will come off as negative to others, so I wish you the best in your continued journey Christian! I will say though to new traders watching this...in this game you are in competition with no one so never feel like you have to outwork the market/individuals or else you will be running in place. Develop discipline, have a plan that works, understand risk management and APPLY it. The rest is trial and error...don’t be fooled by gurus trying to act like they walked into this game with a breeze.

His trading aproach sounds like "blessing" automated trading where you martingale out of your positions eventually. But once when you caught up in wrong trend, that's where ppl get margin calls. And it happens often. Usually the balance chart will be smooth for awhile but once the trend changes, you end up with huge floating loss very suddenly.

I commend Christian coming into the interview regardless what people say on here. Sounded like he was nervous. ALL beginner traders lose their money more than once or twice or four times in 1 or 2 years. At least he didn't give up, he still had determination to keep going. He knows he still needs more learning. It's not easy learning on your own with no one to guide you. I would advise him to apply more of risk management, refine your strategy, learn more of price action and focus on 1 pair only.
