2:18 What were you doing prior to trading, what were you doing before you got into this? 2:59 How did the interest in trading actually come a bit up? 4:43 What was your first introduction if you will, once you did start looking at the market... like where'd your experience begin there? 6:24 Tell me about, was it around 2015 that you started investing in or again a bit more active with the investing? 7:52 What gave you the idea to actually put your money into this lithium company? 9:57 Can you share just rough numbers about how much you made during this period? 11:24 Tell me about the motivator to go full time 13:58 Now I'm not sure where this fits into the timeline exactly but I.. did this may have also contributed in some way or being a bit of a motivator, you were diagnosed with some form of cancer right? 15:11 So what exactly is that (Hodgkin lymphoma)? 16:26 What causes it (Hodgkin lymphoma)? like is there anything they know of? or is it just pretty random? 17:30 How long did the chemo treatment take? 18:28 So you're all good now? 19:42 So how long have you been trading full time for, as of today? 20:20 When you did take the plunge to go 100% full time trading, was there anything else that you did to prepare? 23:35 Let me ask you, what misconceptions did you have or even if they weren't misconceptions maybe unexpected challenges or realizations that you came to, once you did began to trade full time? 25:26 How much money did you put in your actual trading account to get started? 27:29 So how much did you, what's the most you've drowned out on the account like you said? ... how much did you count down? 29:00 When you drew your account down to round about 8000 AUD, was there ever a point where you started to doubt your ability to be able to do this? 30:49 Did you have a point about or sort of an idea on you mind about when you may give up if this wasn't, like did you have a cut off point? 36:29 How have you been trading and has there been like obviously your account bounce from that 8000 AUD point, did you change what you were doing in any way? like was there a significant change, or did you just tighten up some things? ... give a real brief kinda overview to your style and approach to trading 38:15 So when you talked about scalping, how many trades just rough numbers here might you take on any given day? 41:04 When you drew your account down to round about that 8000 AUD mark, things kinda turn around from there ... did you do anything differently or did you just find a bit of groove in the market? like can you explain that a little bit 42:38 ... is this something that you'd like to see within the order book? 44:35 This particular example which you describe here, would this be something which you're looking to trade on a short sight, or is that a long opportunity? 46:52 Are there any steps you're taking currently, like deliberate steps to help you improve and get better? 48:15 What goes into the journal like if we would have look at that, what would we see? 50:35 Have you ever thought about specific goals for the upcoming 12 months? 53:36 Would you consider yourself to be consistently profitable? 56:07 One piece of advice which someone gave you or if they didn't give you directly maybe something you've heard or read somewhere that actually made a difference 59:54 Do you mind sharing some figures around there? 1:00:47 Would you mind sharing your handle (Twitter) This might help

Because you are on your own it is imperative to have a great environment. Plants music, good light maybe an exercise bike.. what ever. Then yes your monitors desk chair. Good interview. On a side note i would never give a broker more than 10k in an account. It's more than enough. Trade small it accumulates

Is everyone a “ daytrader”. Or can you make some trades a week apart or so as the price changes.. Do most of you get in and out in a day?
@aylo38824 жыл бұрын
you can also make money trading the longer timeframes no problem

i think these terms arent that strict ... its just to put people in some kind off category to name these groups of people easier ^^

Yes you can take longer term positions, it's called "swing trading". That's what I do, I take positions and hold them for several days and some times a month. Depends on the trend.

Stock trading brokers in australia they're charging too much. US stock brokers are charging way... way cheap. I pay $5 per trade flat rate. I tried IG to trade CFD they are charging ridiculous amount of money. Anyway US brokers are way better than local once.

I’m on the fence with order flow..I’ve heard several 20 plus year traders say watching time and sales and level 2 is completely pointless due to dark pool orders but then a ton of people say it made a difference in their trading. I guess it depends on the trader..
@Corey-pd3mi4 жыл бұрын
How can time and sales be pointless, it's a realtime record of actual trades. Agreed, just level 2 can be misleading due to spoofing but that's mainly in futures and extremely liquid markets. There are many markets where that type of activity is not worth their time.

I do trades on the platform from Asia, I didn't want to write the review until I make my first withdrawal, because of it the most important for the work with the broker. But now the money is accepted to my Neteller e-wallet, and I can definitely say, that it's safe to work with Trade earn platform, Regarding the rest of the moments also no problems either with deals - execution or with commissions - everything works smoothly

Does Josh use any indicators? If yes, which ones? How much in capital gains tax has he paid?
@melbournian1004 жыл бұрын
From my experience using indicators is wasting time, as long as as you master Price action, volume and risk management. You can do very well. If you want use one VWAP is better indicator than any of the indicators. Enshe Allah.
@Shawk954 жыл бұрын
@@melbournian100 I agree fully. However, I use EMAs but don't see any utility in using VWAP.
