dude, i I have a green house and I keep leaving fertilizer open because I am a dummy. I have a ton of flies in there all the time and they poop on plants and leave dots all over the place that look gross. No one realizes those dots are fly poop but me but it grosses me out. So my point, could I control the flies with venus fly traps? Probably 100 flies a week get stuck on the gross fly strips.

You really don’t want to have any fertilizer for carnivorous plants. In the wild, carnivorous plants live in areas of low nutrient levels like bogs. They evolved carnivory for their source of nitrogen so they could survive the harsh habitat. If given extra nutrients or even planted in the wrong pot, such as terracotta or cement, they will die due to the excess minerals
