This is a great list! There a lot knives on it that I don’t have. That’s why I watch your channel, variety I can’t afford to sample all of and no BS opinions. The Bull Nose and Emersons went on my want list along with something in K390. I have used a fair number of knives at work though. PM2 in S110V I used it hard and it’s still like new except for the numerous edges I put on it. Para3 in Maxamet got a little rust from sprinkler repair but it is the sharpest thing ever. I carried an Rat2 in D2 and the liner rusted a little from sprinkler repair. I carried a Civivi Elementum in D2 and it was boring but it worked. I carried a Boker AK74 in XHP and liked the blade steel. Now I carry a Hogue Ritter mini RSK in 20CV. It’s great! For a while there I was trying to get into work knives that are cheap but good. I did find some but realized I needed greater quality and prefer domestically made. Thanks for showing off your good stuff.

95% of the time I have a Para 3 (S45VN) and/or a Native 5 LW (35VN or S30V) on me. Both models superb. But I ALWAYS have a Spyderco Chaparral FRN on me, without fail. If you haven't tried one you ought to. Simply a great knife!

I've carried a Spyderco for decades. Primarily the Delica, sometimes the Endura or Dragonfly. Just my EDC. Nothing fancy, just rock solid.

I'm really loving your videos. I've been into knives probably longer than you have been alive. It's so great to see younger people get so into the obsession.

Adding a titanium back spacer to my Delica made it feel more substantial to me. Definitely recommend it.

I’ve taken a real liking to the stretch 2 in K390. It just fits in my hand so perfectly, the blade is thinner than a para 2 so it slices well, and the blade shape just works for me. Only bad thing is that it’s a chungus in the pocket.

Awesome video - I have a big Chris Reeve collection and carry a large Inkosi daily and vary my secondary between just about every brand from GEC to Spyderco, Case, Buck, Lionsteel, Fox and Viper - I favor traditionals or modern traditionals for my secondary - awesome video!

Most of my knives are Spyderco. Love the Para 3 platform and have five, both G10 and LWT, love the Delica as well. The Dragonfly is killer with light shorts and quite useful given its size. Only one BM, a Bugout. Not a fan of BM's designs, generally, but greatly respect the focus of this product. It may be one of the most focused products of _any_ kind that I'd come across. Nice to carry, too, and a wonderful tool. Also have a couple of Chinese flippers from Civivi and CJRB. Remarkable quality for the price. Not planning on selling any of these. No reason to. Enjoyed the video.

Spydercos are just the best all around EDC knives. Hands down. My top 3 EDC ATM. Spyderco Para 3 or 2, BM Bugout, TRM Nuetron 2.

Greetings Erica, I know it's on the other side of the Spyderco spectrum, but if you ever get a chance to try out the Spyderco Roadie slip joint you should grab one. Very slim and a funky cool little blade for a secondary or third knife. Peace, DD

We have very similar taste in knives. For some reason I love my Para 3 LW and I'm much more lukewarm on my Sage 5 LW (exact same model as yours, with the M4 and TiCN coating). On paper the Sage 5 is straight-up better than the Para 3, it has more useful handle area, with slightly longer cutting edge, a thinner blade, and in an overall smaller folded package... but the Para 3 LW just *feels* better for ethereal reasons I can't really name.

New to your cast like it a lot! Still love my 110v manix with the flytanium ball lock lighter spring with Shepard Customs boa micarta’s. My blades we love para 2 LH button lock is a close second of my Spyderco’s from a left handed perspective

Seeing all those iconic knives go across your table they represent so many stories and life experiences - Hard work days and battles won. Thank you for sharing! I’ve been able to try/use most of these myself. Glad you mentioned the sequel, I was going to ask about it. Lol Anything you learned about how to decide which knives work best for you? Maybe a list of memorable knives that didn’t do it for you, but taught you something or led to some of these?

Idk, my hands are too small to need a choil on a folder (except the dragonfly, that thing is money). I’ve always appreciated the delica for that, although a delica with a compression lock would be dope.

I tried to love the 940, even got the m4 exclusive but it is just a hair too small for me. My hands are on the larger side of medium so "minis" don't often work in my hands lol more full size or xl even.

Sharpening choil on spyderco knives make it easier to sharpen but if your skilled enough Sharpening right up to the plung grind is very doable free hand.

@@ericasedc Yea, I saw they had some, was just hoping that some one had an exclusive or something like that to where it wouldn't be custom shop or after market. Both of those options bump up the price quite a bit. I'll keep it in mind though, thanks :)

Delica is great but outdated. It lacks the finger groove and wastes close grip to the blade. Stretch Straight Spine is better, even Rockjumber on VG10 platform gets you a better grip forward to the edge. Yes, you get my point either the forward choil on the Native 5 LW. Emerson with his quality issues should line up in your actual big producer rant with Microtech and Hinderer in my opinion. Sage was too rugget and nice. But the Sebenza is your thing? Ok 😝
