interesting, i would've thought they wouldn't bother contacting you since you don't own the copyright? either the original producers of the commercials do or its lapsed into public domain. I've had a few of my uploaded ads used on tv, can't even remember what it was on now, the project or something i think, they didn't contact me first, not that i really care lol.
