Q: Do you do these spreads after the week is over?
A: I always film myself creating these spreads before the week has started and continue to fill it out during the week. I collect the footage at the end of the week and do my voiceover which is why everything I say is in past tense! I always prefer to plan ahead~
Q: How do you use so many planners at the same time?
A: Every week, I choose a few planners for me to use so I’m not actually using ALL of my planners every single week! For example, I always choose a planner for me to take on the go, one for academics, one for business, and one that is more decorative and fun. Part of what I do is showcasing spread ideas so that is why I have so different layouts!
Q: How did you learn your lettering?
A: This is a pretty annoying answer but...practice practice practice! I didn’t use a book or a single resource to learn. I honestly just picked up on the different types of lettering through my daily life (things like book covers, posters, etc.) and practiced whenever possible!!!

They’re all beautiful inks and pens. I haven’t gone beyond using ink cartridges for my pens, eventually I’ll find my way to inking them myself to change things up. One day I’ll take plunge and get a Pilot Vanishing Point, the fact that it’s retractable is very appealing to me.

I definitely recommend J Herbin Amber Orange ink it’s a scented ink that smells of oranges and is lovely. I also like noodler’s Apache Sunset. Some of my favorite inks are by Colorverse, I love the space themes and amazing blue-greens - their Gravity Wave is my favorite ink hands down!

The Sailor Ink Studio ink line is my favorite. Currently 143 is my favorite blue. I also love 350 and love the shading. (Diamine - that ink is “mine” is how I remember to pronounce it ). I’ve been wanting to use my non-permanent inks and water brush to see how I can paint with it in my Cousin. You could use some of your not favorite inks in that way to use them up without guilt. Pure Pens in the UK has Troublemaker inks. Look at those. Wow and so good with the shading. I think you’d love them.

oh wow!!! I am in love with that sailor studio 350 color! Would you also be able to do a video on filling fountain pens? I have the twsbi and i believe it's a vacuum style. How do we fill converters? or use converters? I am hesitant to get pens because i'm never sure how to properly fill them.

There are lots of videos on filling fountain pen coverters on youtube, you can try checking out those by jetpen. You can even just dip the nib into the ink and write like that with a glass dip pen.

Such beautiful colors! I have to say syo-ro is my all time favorite ink and I have a pen inked at all times with it. Another great fall color (my latest addiction) is Pure Pens Cotswolds; a mustardy-orange with great shading; and of course Colorverse - I love the subtle shimmers in Shiny Black. The Rising Reflections that was released this year is a very beautiful yellow. Pelikan's Golden Beryl is also nice but very shimmery.

Could watch this over and over!!! Syo-ro is the only Pilot ink I have and it remains an alllll time favourite. I don't have any navy recommends but must say I realllllly like Sailor Manyo Kikyou, it's a wonderful blue black.

NICE! I saw some new colors that I want! Ok, my favorites at the moment are Diamine Aurora Borealis (Northern lights blue green). It's my favorite color that I use in my favorite pen, the Decimo vanishing point. Another fave is Sailor Yozakura, a dusty blush pink. It looks beautiful on paper. Naturally, I have it in a metallic pink Levenger (matchy matchy!). Third is a new color, De Atraments Azul, which comes out as a medium blue. Not as saturated as the darker blues. It's soooo pretty! I don't have it in anything yet, I'm trying to decide which pen to load it into. I get all my inks from Jet Pens. Thank you for feeding my habit 💖

Loved this!! Every time I see someone talking about fountain pens it makes me want to buy one...not the cheapy Preppy brand ones I got from Hobonichi 😂 I adore the Twsbi Iris 😍😍😍😍 But, it's so darn expensive 😭 Maybe one day!!!

I think you would love: Robert Oster African Gold KWZ Honey (this is the ink that I always either have inked up, or am longing to use and daydream about; it smells so good!) Herbin Ambre de Birmanie (basically identical to Jacques Herbin Ambre de Baltique) Sailor Shikiori Yama Dori Taccia Golden Wheat (very dark golden brown but with awesome shading that I like to mix with lighter inks to increase shading) Vinta Inks Malayan Apple Makopa (vibrant magenta with strong green-gold sheen that shockingly does not smudge) Bungubox L'Amant (super hard to find, extremely expensive, but you have to look at photos of this ink because there's just nothing like it-I've bought at least 10 samples of ink trying to find a dupe. It GLOWS in an extraordinary way.) Colorverse Coffee Break (it's possible I'm too obsessed with shading brown inks, I've left several off this list...) Diamine Ancient Copper
