Ever wonder what it would be like for a Foreigner to travel around Somaliland. Well my amazing coworker and best travel friend came to visit me after seeing clips of our somali vlogs. Clarification of the SPU escort: Since the triple bombing of 2008, foreigners going outside the cities are required to have police escort for their safety. Inside the city of Hargeysa no escort is required and foreigners of all countries freely roam (walk, drive, take a taxi, eat at restaurants, etc.). Such a clarification would have been handy to those who are not familiar with the law of the land.
