Oh, brother; does that sound good. A hell of a financial outlay, I bet; but bound to increase in value. Green with envy, me.
@charlesbolton84718 ай бұрын
These are $3,000 which is a little bit less expensive than an actual vintage black panel Deluxe Reverb, and a bit more expensive than an actual vintage silver panel Deluxe Reverb. Those amps WILL retain their value and continue to increase in value. These probably won’t increase in value for quite awhile (unless Fender stops making them).

Dude from Psionic Audio ripped this amp a new one. Totally bummed me out because I wanted one, but after seeing his breakdown I have to agree. or worth the $$$.
@guitarhoarder19724 ай бұрын
it is hand wired and sounds really nice, I don't think anything is worth the money anymore in this day and age. I look at it this way, they are asking tons of money for an original amp that is more than likely in need of caps ,tubes, transformers etc. I would rather spend money on a new version with new parts that have better tolerances compared to old amps of the day. that's what dumble was all about . he said he would send 30% of his parts back because of the variations in values of old parts. hope this helps, thanks for the input and the view. Jake

@@guitarhoarder1972 That’s just it, it’s not made the same way and it has many problems that make it not worth it. They use cheap caps that fail, there are a lot of internal fuses that will disable the amp and require servicing instead of just replacing a fuse like the old ones. It’s crazy!
@guitarhoarder19724 ай бұрын
@NotoriousV.I.C. I understand what you are saying for sure, most everything is cheap nowadays but expensive..Tubes are not cheap anymore either. Before long A.I. will be running the show, or that's what the big buzz is on social media . Lol.. I guess the best thing for us is to hang on to the gear you have and keep searching for a deal on the rest. I wish I knew what I was doing when I was young. You could buy that stuff for a song .Best of luck in your search for gear and for your input on this channel . Jake

Hello! I was wanting to know how your 64 Deluxe Reverb Custom Hand Wired is doing and if any caps are leaking and does the amp still work OK? The reason is I am looking at buying one but when I research them on KZbin, a repair person is saying they are junk and things need to be replaced before the warrenty even is up. He says repair people like them because they are always in for repair. Is this really true? Just a bedroom player so not in heavy use. Thank You!

@@guitarhoarder1972 So far, the only person I have found saying negative things about the build quality is the repair guy I found here on You Tube, I asked another owner, and he said his repair person said they are very well built and no problems in a few years so far. Thank You so much for the information.

@ericjames7680 no prob, I will keep u I'm the loop if any issues arise, I work on tube amps myself, and in my past experience I have found hand wired to be the best. you can change a pot without removing the entire circuit board and you can work on them and also mod them ..nothing is equal .. my opinion of 45yrs. in the 🎾

How come you never switched to Vibrato channel? Why no Reverb? It's called a Deluxe Reverb duh!

we did switch the vibration channel on and the reverb was on ..the verb gets a lot of soak very fast so we kept it at a lower level..

@dimitrioskarastamatis49198 ай бұрын
Glad you're not getting paid, I grew up in the 50's and 60's where people did things like this for free bc people cared about each other, didn't want to fleece anyone, money wasn't as important as our neighbors were. It's appalling and unnatural the way we all try to find ways to fleece each other for a buck and really doing nothing, especially doing what you guys do! Why should you or anyone else get paid for doing something so unimportant and for some advice?! The u.s. is collapsing, China grooms 1 million scientist a year, while this silly backwards country produces 1 million McDonald`s managers, the rest are finding excuses and ways to fleece each other for a buck! I`m glad I'm 68, I lived in great times where everyday people were happy, didn't want to rip off anyone like today, and obviously you don't have a clue, you grew up in these times of folly, FACT!! The u.s. has become a collapsing whore house and bc of our folly the world is moving East to China for Freedoms that do not exist in this clown show, NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LIE, FACT! Sorry for the small speech but your generation is done, like the u.s. is, and all these instruments will become firewood if this country doesn't change now, FACT! Enjoy life, it`s going to be a lot shorter bc of capitalism, the love on money over the Human Species and Life itself, FACT! MIT gives the Human Species 16 years before extinction so go have a great life, it's going to be short bc of capitalism, ALL FACTS!!!@@guitarhoarder1972
