In ancient times lahore used to be a walled city with twelve portals or doors and city used to be be with in the walls and those doors used to be closed by dusk and no passagers were allowed to leave or enter city till next morning this is how city was run. It is said that Raja Ram Chandar had two sons lahoo and Qasoo and these cities were named after them for lahoo it was lahore and for Qasoo it was Qasoor as we speak even today these two cities are twin cities The known written history of city goes back to Twelve hundred years before that its even older than that Data Darbar a famous saint stepped in lahore almost thousand years back his shrine is very famous land mark of the city so this city is one of oldest living city today.

Actually I study here in Lahore, and believe me metro and speedo these are safest transport for ladies... And I can even travel alone and I never get disturbed by anything here... Even once, I didn't not have change of money u can say chutta😅 and I traveled free of cost to my university 😁 You might be thinking what's speedo, speedo is also a buss service and it covers many areas of Lahore and u can travel for 20 rupees, a big facility for students in Lahore

دوستو اس بڑے سے پارک کا نام ہے اقبال گریٹر پارک. پہلے اس کا نام منٹو پارک تهآ. منٹو پارک اور باد شاهی مسجد کے درمیان ایک سڑک تهی دوسری طرف پرانا راوی جو صدیوں پہلے اپنا رستہ پدل چکا تها. 1940 میں اسی پارک میں مسلم لیگ کا اجلاس منعقد ہوا تها جس میں مسلمانوں کے لئے الگ ریاست کی قرارداد منظور هوئی تهی. جس جگہ پر سٹیج تها عین اس جگہ پر یادگار پاکستان بنا دیا گیا جسے مینارپاکستان بهی کہا جاتا ہے. اب مسجد اور منٹو پارک کے درمیان سڑک ختم کر کے پارک کی توسیع کر تعمیرنو کر دی گئی ہے. پرانا راوی کی جگہ پانی کے بڑےبڑے تالاب بنا دیئے گئے ہیں تاکہ یاد باقی رہے. جو سڑک ختم کی گئی اسے پارک کی طرف روڈ میں ملایا گیا ہے اور روڈ کو کشادہ کیاگیا ہے. پارک کے مشرق کی طرف اسلام آباد پشاور شمالی علاقہ جات اور آزاد کشمیر کی طرف سفر کرنے کے لئے بس سٹینڈ ہے جسے بادامی باغ بس سٹینڈ بهی کہتے ہیں. مغرب کی طرف داتا دربار هے.
