My friend took me flying in his 2 seater plane, bucket list moment!

So a good friend of mine offered to take me in his 2 seater plane flying for the afternoon. I absolutely jumped at the chance as it was always on my bucket list.
The day came and my fear of heights set in big time and the anxiety set in fast, I was petrified!!!
My good friend Andy has been flying for about 6 years and reassured me I was in good hands at it would all be just fine. As you know if anything did go wrong it was goodnight Vienna, I was nervous as hell.
I met Andy and we drove to the airfield where the plane was kept. On arrival Andy did all of his pre flight checks to make sure everything was in a good working order, my anxiety level was still through the roof!!!!
He strapped me in the plane and we made our way to the end of the runway.
And away we go. The plane accelerated fast from a stopped position and we were airborne about 200m-400m down the runway. Quick take off, I was shocked how quick!
The rumbling of the grass field stopped and it became very smooth as we took of over Swindon. We gained altitude to about 2000ft and the views were spectacular.
My anxiety level was coming down and I started to relax as Andy pointed out landmarks. I couldn’t believe how may people have swimming pools and tennis courts, so many, lol!
We were flying for about an hour or so and the anxiety kicked back in when Andy said we, “were coming in for landing!”
The plane banked left and downwards, fast!
I could see the bright yellow field where we took off and the green landing strip to one side of it. landing speed was about 60mph. We came down with quite a bump and taxied up the runway to put the plane back in the hanger.
The flight was calm and peaceful and quite a day to remember and hopefully we might do it again soon???🥴
I just want to say a big thank you to Andy for this once in a lifetime opportunity and helping me conquer a big fear of mine.

Ah thanks for watching Gary! Yes I was absolutely shitting myself from the minute we took off to the second we landed, lol! It was a lovely experience though and I’m glad I forced myself to do it. I would go up again but I’m not sure I’ll feel any better about it the next time. Maybe I’ll just stick to flying my drone, hahaha 🤣 I’m keeping well mate and I’m having the time of my life doing content for my KZbin channel. As long as people are interested in watching I’ll keep posting mad shit and probably scare myself some more, lol! Nice to hear from you my old friend!!!!!!!
