I was thinking that she was counting how many knocks there were and pin pointing how many people there monsters there were. I was washing dishes so I am facing the sink. My back is turned to the rest of the house. My son came up behind me and I didn't hear him because I was wearing my earbuds. He quietly reached around me to put a cup in the sink. It happened at the same time where everyone was running to the car. Needless to say I totally freaked out. My son thought it was hilarious and wanted to do it again.

This kinda reminds me of a horror movie(forget me not) where these shadow monsters kill off a group of friends based on a type of hide and seek game. Here's the rhyme that goes with it: "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, release the ones ignored by heaven. 8, 9, 10, now run and hide or join her at the Devil's side. 11 comes, the clocks will chime, forgotten souls erased by time. Midnight comes, it's not too late, so kill the ghost or seal your fate!"

I had a weird thing happen when me and my friend were playing hide and seek in the dark. I was laying down in tall monkey grass hiding. My friend walked 2ft away from me in the grass but didn't see me in the shadow of a tree and kept walking. I looked up and no one was there and then my friend flickered the porch light meaning game over come inside. That was about 75 meters away. And my friend couldn't have cleared that distance without me seeing him and in only about 5 seconds. I don't know who walked past me....

I’m sure I’m not the only one that listens to you while I go to sleep! So, it’s not surprising this story was playing early the next morning. However,in my near consciousness I heard the knocking & woke my husband up to go see who was knocking at the door! Fortunately, I realized in the persistent knocking & subsequent shouted assurances he was coming, I made the connection to the story still playing in my earbuds! Chagrined, I stopped my husband’s efforts to get dressed, telling him I dreamt it all! He sat there a moment as if listening himself, then relaxed back into the bed. I let out the breath I was holding as I fought to keep from laughing at my goof!Best realistic story ever!! Keep up the great work! That’s why I love these stories best!👍🏼🥰 🤣😂❤️

I am so damn glad I never heard these kinds of stories when I was a kid, because I grew up “in the boonies,” in a tiny 1960’s ranch with a huge yard that bordered on a huge wooded area. Most of wooded area was owned by the St. Louis airport who planned to expand their runways, and a local farmer owned the rest, but they were located miles away on the opposite side of the woods. All we had to do was jump the fence and walk less than a block, and we were entering a very dark, densely wooded area that had a couple trails to follow. The only things my dad ever warned us about was the dangers of discarded gas tanks and large propane tanks and broken glass. I was an extreme scaredy cat, so I rarely ventured into the woods until I was older. But if I’d heard these stories, I would have never left the house! My younger brother, on the other hand, was either a daredevil or had a death wish, because he spent most of his summers exploring those woods! And he did get bit by a snake and a rat, came across a massive bee hive and had to check it out resulting in being attacked by hundreds of bees that made under his shirt, into his pants and even into his socks, fell several times requiring stitches, suffered a fractured skull when he tripped & hit his head on an old motor left there, and thousands of bug bites! Oh…for the good old days!😁💞

Lighthouse! These are some crystal clear, lovely shots, incredibly smooth and clear. Did someone get a new drone to play with?? Or are these split between tripod and RTV or car with wide lense? Or GoPro?? I'm quite taken with the shot at 3:00. Is that a forest near you? Your shots make the video so much more fun to watch, and they're already great. Well done! (Oh, okay, just hit 5 mins in or so - def a drone! That looks so fun! Does it have a built in camera? I don't know much about them, if the cameras come built in or if they come separately. Mind sharing the model? It takes breathtaking footage.)

@@LighthouseHorror - Wow awesome! They really are beautiful. Did you ever hear about that Japanese "superfan" who stalked this young pop star by looking at the reflection in her eyes in a photo she'd posted? He then staked out the train station until she showed up again and then followed her home... urgh. 🤢🤮 (Here's the article, super crazy: www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-asia-50000234). So yeah. I love what he does with the background pictures/scenes too! Definitely a signature style of his videos! So good in fact that I’ve noticed at least one other prominent KZbinr starting to mimic it but with much less effort, fewer scenes, and obviously just a token effort. I only wear one ear bud in at a time, typically the right one. As I bought a cheap pair for mulling around the house while doing chores. The reason for the one is they fall out without provocation. So I put one in and only have to worry about catching one and not two. I say all this because as I was idly going about my sleep deprived routine, I suddenly hear a sharp knocking at the front door. I damn near crap my pants and jump outta my skin... only to realize, a bit too late, the damn knocking is coming from my one bud. Bravo👏 Good show😂

wAIT A SECOND - WHY WOULD YOU LET THE DOG STAY OUT?? Especially on an unfenced property. Horror story or not, that hound is going to go running, and you're not going to be able to catch up to them. Or is this just my experience as a border collie owner in a big city?
@BeresVonSaladir3 жыл бұрын
Not sure about the city, but at my house (which is some form of a mix between suburban and rural, tending towards the rural side) it's super okay leaving dogs outside. They know their houses and, no matter what shenanigan they get up to at night, will always come back. Nothing ever happen to any dogs staying outside, though the only one I currently have is kinda lazy and prefer to sleep inside the house.
@jasperz31353 жыл бұрын
@@BeresVonSaladir Dude, that's insane - we couldn't even do that in the countryside down in the southern part of New Zealand because people always had guns and shot animals on sight. Even if they had a collar on and everything. Never lost an animal like that, personally, but a lot of old neighbor's did. Then if it's not the guns and kill on sight mentality causing an issue, it's the dog fighting ring problem and pet killers in the cities. I genuinely have faith that my English bull terrier will come home when she's gotten out. Once she's worn herself down enough and gotten bored. Even herd the border collie back - she's done it numerous times. She can work the gates and the other one can climb. But she's always been at the collie's heels to send her back home, and even led total strangers back when she's gone on a solo adventure and they've tried to coax her into going back home and followed her to make sure she got there - but it's just. I have faith in her. I don't have faith in the humans that are around her and have every opportunity to take her away for one of the rings as a big dog, or who'll decide her life is worth less than just because she's a dog, and we don't have a high human-on-human murder rate, but we have a terrifying amount of animals that still get left in the middle of footpaths and neatly placed in driveways or by traffic lights that were clearly done in by a methodical human hand, you know? Absolutely love the sound of where you live, though. It sounds like an entirely different world. And far less anxiety inducing, to boot. Half the time we can't even have dogs in our backyards without supervision - big or small - because people think it's funny to hop fences and snatch 'em.
