@@miffytube The soreseal is a talisman that reduces your damage negation by a percentage. Basically, it kills your defense. If this were an instance where he was in a low level or early game area, this wouldn't be nearly as much of a problem, because the stat boost makes up for that percentage lost, but when you have a fully fleshed out build, those twenty stats have massive diminishing returns. And in late game, any reduction in damage negation is a very bad idea, unless you're deliberately trying to make your character die faster

That “no hp and a dream” finish is how I got the final boss. It came down to “WE GREED HIM OR DIE, COME ON TRY NUMBER 30 BABY LETS GOOOOOOO” and was slashing him during his 5-10 hit combo

That was how I got him too! Had him rotting in those last few moments while I hacked away at him to speed things up, and he died right about when I died to one of his attacks - but I got the Remembrance just before the death message came on screen, so it counted. Biggest sigh of relief I’ve ever had for any video game.

Being a high level mage, my priorities are not focused on Vigor, I got it to the bare minimum (60) and got my mind to 99.. truth be told I sometimes wish I got my Vigor higher

​@@michapiasta3072I used both a bunch they have different uses. The new one is more versatile than the old one but the old one is easier to get off against bosses. The new one is better if you plan on trading blows with bosses though. I only used the old one against radahn because he would break through my poise. Basically new ash of war= more damage less poise old ash of war= less damage more poise.
