The "door ajar" beeper on my Kenmore upright freezer kept going off, even though the door was closed. To make a long story short, I ended up replacing both the door switch and the control board. The beeping stopped for a few days, but it started again today. Could there be a problem with the wiring between the switch and the control board? Also, the light stays on even when the door switch is depressed. Do you have any ideas about how to fix it? Thank you.

The model number FFUE22AW has a little magnet that can fall out of the small plastic holder on the bottom of the door.. The Freezer will keep beeping if the magnet is missing.. The plastic holder for the magnet is on the bottom of the door and lines up with sensor that has the green light on it..
