Glad you did the epidural. I had 4 without anything. Doing it over, I'd do the epidural. So sorry you felt the emergency C section, that sucks major. He is a clone and very beautiful. Really glad they got him out too. Scary times for both of you mommah. This made me cry. Now each time you watch another woman, this will send you back to the same place in your mind that you'll never forget, you'll feel her pain even. I've attended all my friends births and now I get why men get sick, nervous and nauseated. lol Congratulations lil family !!! He's here! Lennon is here and he's a keeper.

Hey Chloe I wanted to send a note in case you happen to see it. My wife and I had our first kid 2.5 years ago. Her whole pregnancy the most important thing for her was a natural birth. She went to 42 weeks and had to be induced. After 44 hours of labor we had to do a c-section. I know that this cause a lot of bad thoughts and feelings for her. For some reason she felt she was less of a mom or woman because her body was “defective” and she wasn’t able to achieve her dream of a natural birth. But I can tell you she was a hero in what’s he went through and ultimately our son is happy and healthy and I wouldn’t have done it any other way. Fast forward to this December and we were blessed to welcome our second son via VBAC. Her total labor was 4 hours and everything went smoothly. I’m not sure what is in your head or heart, but please don’t listen to the little voice that may be telling you any of it is your fault. Having a healthy baby is the ultimate goal and the rest is all just a footnote in the story of how you got there.

This was such a cute video but..you guys may not have said his name until close to the end but you already showed it at least twice before then. It was on his little rolly bed and it was on the birth certificate. You should've blurred it out until the end lol. On another note, I'm so glad everything turned out ok. I just started watching yall recently and he is such a cute baby. I've had 3 babies of my own and each one is an adventure. None of the births are the same. I can only imagine how scary it would be to have a c-section but in the end, all that matters is that you both are all healthy..well and Dad too of course.

I would have someone review your chart that was not involved in your care. It sounds like your epidural could have been in a blood vessel, causing tachycardia (elevated HR) in you and the baby. Or did you have a fever that can be related to getting the epidural and then cause an increased HR in mom and baby. Then talking about a cesarean section would also increase the HR naturally until she calmed back down. I'm also not sure of the time frame between epidural and water being broken, but that would possibly be an unnecessary intervention. I'm so happy you and your baby are healthy, consider if you or your husband have any trauma caused by what happened to you. You can speak with someone to validate any feelings you may still need to talk about.

Dad, be glad your chair stayed laying down. The one my husband had..you had to put like all your body weight on it to keep it laid back. We have always been big cuddlers and I felt bad making him sleep on that chair so he just slept in the bed with me. Yall could've done the same. You were sitting in the bed with her so there was room. Especially if you lay on your sides. Just letting you know in case there's a next time 😉

Big deal....lots of people have csections. Its something you should be prepared for in case it happens. I was born from a csection and I opted to have one for my girl. Atleast your baby is healthy!
@fortheloveofbooks64993 жыл бұрын
There is no need to dismiss someones personal birth trauma. A planned caesarean and an emergency one are every different and can not be compared. It is also completely fine for someone to have a birth plan and be disappointed when it doesn't work out like they expected. I am sure they are both very grateful that both Chloe and baby are doing well but that doesn't take away the pain and emotion that could have come from that birth. I am so glad you had the birth you wanted, please don't tear people down because they didn't get theirs.
