I run a similar build, the main difference is that instead of PA I use solar armor with overeater, constant health regeneration and some perk modifications will always keep me above the required threshold, plus I hate how clunky power armor gets. In my case what rads is a savior cause I have very little RR

If you need to use right away at eviction notice and your bill is missing something the only place you should ever ever have to use right away on a full health power armor build it is if you’re doing radiation rumble and you’re actually the one going down and collecting the or That’s the only time other than that there’s no radiation high enough that it can’t be countered with white rats and if you have a full health power armor build, you should have white rats. It’s an automatic on a fall build. It’s like the one health related perk that goes to full health is that we can use white rats

Technically, it doesn’t have that effect. But because you are a human attacking yourself with explosions it protects you because of the damage reduction to humans. Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated.

I never realized that Assassin's equipment technically also applies to yourself. I don't think it's explosive damage reduction. You still count as "human" when inflicting self damage in-game.

The quad LMG is a great one to have for sure, so no need to roll at two-shot. I just prefer the two-shot because of the high amount of spread that covers a larger area. Both are great guns though.

on my level 150 toon with excavator armor, I very very rarely need to think about rad issues, I'm not sure all of the investment you've put into rad mitigation is worth the resources and bonuses you're losing to just avoid popping a consumable every now and then. Scrapper, I'm curious as to why you would't use that in a dedicated secondary crafting/home build? seems like a wasted slot, same with hard bargain, very easy to switch out when you're selling stuff.

I run silos, do ore runs in Rad Rumble, and I'm subjected to radiation often in the game. For me, it's a nice QoL perk to be running all the time. I slay mobs with ease so I don't feel like I'm "wasting" perks. I almost never die nor do I need to take Radaway or Stimpaks to survive. Same deal with Scrapper - I scrap things ALL THE TIME and I'm not going to always go back to my camp to do that. It's a PitA to remember to swap your build out to scrap things when I'm always scrapping. It's one perk card slot, which isn't a waste. I'd say over 95% of players have Scrapper equipped at all times, and I would never have a toon not have it always equipped. That's the beauty of this game, I like what I like and you like what you like. As long as we're happy & content, it's a win bay bay! Thx for the comment.

You do not need master infiltrator installed all the time. If you are doing missions that you need it pop it on right out with white rats momentarily or or pop on you have three points in perception on the lock cards there’s no circumstance that requires you to have master master infiltrator it’s a convenience item that’s it.

It recharges one fusion cord, the one you’re using and unless you’re spending all your time watching it to see when it’s fully recharged or especially intentionally going I mean back when it first came out yeah I used it. Went over to the robots over there that assaults and attacked them, got them pissed off enough to attack me and they’ll charge your fusion course right up and then you swap them. They’ll charge another one, but it’s a pain in the ass to keep up with Specially given if you just loot everything fusion cores are everywhere you’ll end up with so many fusion cores you’re selling them on your vendor. I charge them and put them on my vendor and sell them at a much lower rate then you can buy them from the wandering vendorspeople snap them up I mean, cause some people are using you know weapons that use fusion course as ammo so they need more of them and they’re not interested in collecting them

Question... I've started a new toon and was going PA Heavy. I see you are running TS expl.. but I'm not getting good damage output with my Expl weapons (gatling, 50, etc). With TS just being a 25% damage increase, then split 1/2 for each shot, is it that the explosion portion is using base damage x2? Like a launcher where TS is the rule? I was going to try for AA explo so I could get good penetration on the low damage base shot. Wondering if AA for actual direct damage, with Expl kick, is the way. Or TS Expl because you get 2x expl damage. Thoughts?

So I have a furious Explosive .50 an LMG with the same two star and it is doing more damage than my TSE on the non launchers, depending on the build you could change them to bloodied or AA.

To be clear: if it is a launcher, as in missile, broadsider, fatman, agl then due to the way those weapons are natively explosive then two shot is direct double damage and is king. Nothing is better. A side note, alien blaster with cryo barrel is two shot king due to the snow balls counting as explosions so also equip demo expert for that weapon. (The alien blaster cannot have explosive as 2nd star hence the exception here) For all other weapons, ts is only good when paired with second star explosive if it’s not explosive it is a trash effect as it’s only 25 % damage with a huge penalty to accuracy.

My choice of Grenadier is using the M79 Grenade Launcher and I also do full health build. Do wish for more Explosive weapons that aren't like the Auto Grenade Launcher...

Wish they had an M32 in the game. It’s an automatic 6-round handheld that’s an absolute beast. Would be fun to use something like that, but the AGL or Nuka Launcher work good enough for me. Haven’t messed around with the M79 a whole lot since it’s single fire.

Absolutely do not need it under any circumstance it’s a minimalistic card that gives you very little benefit and when you’re using a heavy gun, you don’t need to stagger cripple. There’s no benefit to it. You’re not gonna cripple anything that matters or stag or anything. The queen is gonna be crippled by that card not unless you’re using pepper shaker in which case you should’ve went within four sir because it’s a much better card specific to shotguns and has higher cripple and stagger chance Not to mention the gun itself for cripple and stagger the one exception is if you’re running a shredder on your build then that per card is useful because that will give you a chance with the shredder to cripple and stagger a very good one given that it attacks 20 times a second your eye the probability of a trigger is much higherbecause of the really fast attack rate

Hmmm why do you have 15 in strength and 5 STR legendary wouldn't you want 10 in STR and the 5 STR legendary so you have 5 extra points to put into another special like perception to get 60% damage to glowing enemies and 2 into chr for tenderizer??? And not having take 1 for the team is just bad so much damage lose in this build.

Level 780 Full Health PA build on Xbox. What Rads is a waste of a Legendary card. I used to run with 2 ranks but really carrying a few rad away will get the same result. Would rather have Elec Absorb, or Taking one for the Team or 5 extras points somewhere else if I’m gonna run my chainsaw a lot.

No, it’s not it’s 75% damage directed at you from humans. It’s not explosive damage protection it call damage from humans any human shooting at you throwing fire on while fires a different category but any human doing you ballistic damage is covered by that actually it’s not just ballistic damage. I don’t know what I was saying in any case it doesn’t matter how it works all that matters is that it does so if you’re gonna run an explosive weapon build, you must have assassin’s armor otherwise you will die a lot to your own stuff.

I wonder if you mix and match parts of A with J , O or something else what will be the result? Get above 500 HP and you will not have to wear assassin's armor or need What's RAD. This frees you up to get a full set of Weapons Weight Reduction gear which will improve your quality of life more than anything else. As for weapons, AAE is what you want on the .50 cal and LMG. Use the machine guns on trash and use AA FFR Holy Fire or AA PAD Chainsaw/Autoaxe on bosses.

That legendary card master infiltrator is a rookie card. Think about it, there is never anything locked up or behind a terminal that's worth the points in your limited legendary cards. Sure, I could just pick the locks but I’m playing the game to be able to spend time with my friends & community. I’m a high level that doesn’t need anything in the game and to me the game is super easy anymore. My friend, I think you meant bandolier let you carry a lot of ammo non-energy related ammo. It doesn’t let you carry any weapons that’s bare arms, and to be fair if you’re talking primarily have a gun build and not a shredder build you only need two weapons, Gatlin, laser, and a Gattlin plasmaGattlin laser for rain shit Gattlin plasma for close-up shit what other heavy guns do you need and honestly, Bandier shouldn’t be there and you shouldn’t be carrying any ammo that gets reduced and weight by Bandier. You should be using energy weapons with batteries included so that you can use those three points and strength for something useful.

Yes, in a power armor bill that’s at full health you know that has 90% rad reduction in addition to a bunch of red resistance which by the way is like marginal compared to rad reduction, but you have 90 for every hundred rads that you take only 10 of them Are then mitigated by your resistances while a fully maxed out what rats is removing six every second what rads is the only upside radiation related health related build related that full health builds have is that we don’t have to dick with our rats at all we don’t have to worry about a interview. Take a bunch they’ll be gone in a few seconds.

As much as I love explosive weapons, they are annoying in my opinion. Lost count of the times I joined an event and see others launching nukes, firing explosive legendaries, and chucking nades non-stop (w/ grenadier of course). It often obscures what you can see on the screen and/or all the (loot-able) enemy bodies are sent flying to who knows where.

When you kill an enemy and their body flies away, their loot pile remains where they died. So it doesn’t matter if they fly away out of sight or not. I use these weapons all the time and they don’t bother me much. Thx for the comment & Merry Christmas.

You can effectively share one point for cards because most of your charisma comes from a legendary card and those points cannot be shared. That’s why you don’t use charisma as a legendary park card. I’m looking at your cards right now. You literally could’ve used a strength, special and endurance special unintelligent special an agility special and a look special but you chose a charisma special.

And don’t carry around ammo and then you can give up three points and strength for something more useful. You shouldn’t have any ammo that isn’t energy, ammo or explosive ordinance. Your strength category has too many things you need in it to waste it on carrying ammo and while 50 cows, especially a two shot explosiveor or I don’t know if two shot is great on that weapon but an explosive 50 K is quite handy given there’s no spin up. You can just plank playing plank playing playing blank by the ammo right the carry weight of it all.

Yeah, you’re talking goulash up like it’s great. It’s three points and it is an endurance where you have a hard time you know filling up the points you need because honestly, you should actually have a maxed out endurance. If you really wanna not die ever then the more health the better but if you’re trying to fill out points, foolish is great. I use it but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be used to be really really, really powerful. Gooey used to be a card that if you were at White springs in a fire storm, you could not die you had to take a right away ever once in a while because no white rats back there no legendary for cards but as soon as you took a right away, you were instantly a full health again because of the radiation was causing so much healing through Golish, but they nerve the fuck out of Golish so it does minimal healing. You have to take massive radiation for goulash to really do a lot. I use it because every little bit helps and I use unstabilized isotope which every time it’s in I’m on a shredder build time. Something hits me and unstabilized goes off. I get a little tiny bit of healing, sometimes negate because most of things that are hitting me are doing some radiation at the same time and Golish doesn’t do anything about that. go regenerate your health But only if there’s no radiation on your health, it’s it’s a good card to use, but you have to understand the limitations. It is not what it was like four or five years ago for five years ago the tiniest bit of radiation you could you could literally gambling gun yourselfor a gun close to you. Take some radiation and heal yourself with that I mean any amount of radiation was massive healing doesn’t really work that way anymore combined synergistically with what rads taking six per second you get tiny little heels off of our go.

Yeah, everybody looks at the first park but not the second the first perk is meaningless. It means nothing 300 grand resistance doesn’t do shit for you. You could have R2000 resistance you’ll still die in a nuclear event in a few seconds but when you have six rants per second coming off, I mean my fully not fully I guess my Secret Service armored character with white rats can stand in a fire storm for like a minute and a half before dying the radiation. I did it accidentally once after Earl was finished. Left the room come back my character standing out there in a fire storm with Secret Service, right Not dead yet still standing there so I regenerate all my radiation and watched it. It was about a minute and a half it took to kill me in power armor or especially in a red suit which has higher red reduction rat suit you almost take no radiation power armor you take about 10% of the hole so you know in a power armor with what rads you are immune to a nuclear you know from like new King, the queen your immune to that radiation you’re not however, immune to radiation rumble although again in a red suit, you’re almost our immune you can do all four hallways in a red suit. You can get done with about two hallways in in apower armor with white rats in a red suit. It would take a long time to kill you with what rads

I find it funny that you say you're a heavy explosive build, talk about your scrip AGL, and then seconds later act like the Nuka Launcher is worse. You were wrong about almost every you said about it. You called it slow, and said it holds something like 3 or 4 rounds? It holds 12 rounds, and has the fastest fire rate out of any launcher in the game by a long shot. Just look at the stats. A regular 2 shot AGL with 25% faster fire has a fire rate of 16, but the Nuka Launcher has faster fire built in as a hidden effect that boosts the fire rate to 30. That's 90% faster than any other AGL. The Nuka Launcher is by far the best AGL in the game. Side note, AGL's do not benefit from any damage increasing perks for heavy weapons, only from explosive perk cards.

Guess you can say my 50 yrs on this planet has hampered my brain a little bit. Yeah, the Nuka Launcher has a much faster rate of fire which in the video I was incorrect about. But I still prefer my two-shot AGL because I don't need to firing off 40mm rounds as quickly as what the Nuka Launcher can do. I've had my two-shot AGL for almost as long as I've been playing the game, and letr's say I'm somewhat sentimental to it as I've enjoyed using it for so long. As said in other replies of mine in the comments here, the game is pretty easy and you don't have to necessarily go full beast-mode or giga-chad to be the goat. Main goal of this game for me is to have fun playing with my friends & community. Happy New Year!

@dustrho Completely understandable. Although I rarely use them anymore, I still have my first 2 godroll weapons I ever got on me at all times. One is an anti armor/ explosive/ less vats cost Fixer, and the other is an anti armor/ explosive/ faster crit fill Handmade. In fact, I like the Fixer so much that for the last 2 years, I have made it my endgame to collect every single explosive variant of Fixer there is. I currently have around 175 of them. As for the Nuka Launcher, it has been my go to "sidearm" ever since I got it, so I guess I'm a little partial towards them. Being a full health explosive commando build, there is nothing better for getting out of sticky situations or soloing events like Eviction Notice. I try not to use it when a bunch of other players are around unless needed, mostly because every time I do I get angry and thumbs down emotes thrown at me nonstop. I've even been cussed out by other players on more than one occasion lol

When dropping ordinance, esp in Events, you don't need that fire rate. #1 is don't be a jerk to others in the event and let them get tags. ;) Single or Double tap only unless there's an over-run situation. And 3 shots out of any AGL will take out mobs in Rumble/Eviction... don't need 10 and annoy everyone.

As long as others are pulling there weight in public servers, there's no need. If I wanted to be a jerk or show everyone in the game how small my pp is, I would just spam the 400+ Nuka grenades I always have on me lol. But I don't do that in public servers either. It really doesn't matter what weapon someone uses, having a faster fire rate will always be better, regardless of the situation. I agree 100% that 3 shots will take out most mobs, but firing those 3 rounds twice as fast is nothing but beneficial. You can always control your fire to slow it down, but you can't do anything to speed it up. Again, this applies to every weapon, not just explosives

Does not give you any buff to your explosion. The only thing assassin does for you in case of explosions is your shooting the gun you’re a human human being so the assassin’s protect you from yourself that’s what assassins does for you and it’s a necessity on any explosive weapon bill because it’s gonna happen a But where you shoot something and you’re within range of it because of granite deer and you’re going to kill yourself a lot without the assassins with the assassins you can shoot at the ground at your feet and do no damage. You’re completely pretty much immune to your own explosive damage with assassins that’s why you run assassins on an explosive weapon build And on top of that since Wastelanders there’s a butt load of human beings all over the map a butt load in fact it’s probably the most likely thing to be shooting at you is a human being and you’re now you know taking very little damage 75% less damage from all of them there’s a lot of reasons to run assassins but as far as I have a gun build using explosive weapons it’s in necessity unless you just wanna die a lot to your own explosions

In fact most builds most Mehta builds in fallout 76 are quite simple so unless there’s something really out there about yours, I don’t see anybody asking you that much about it because what’s the point you throwing heavy gunner cards you pick up a heavy gun and you shoot shit if you’re in power armor you put on stabilized and you shoot more accurately and with armor ignoreit’s not rocket science

I can't tell if you're criticizing me or just saying what's ever on your mind, but either way thanks for your comments. I have over 19k views & almost 500 likes on this video, and people have given me many compliments about this build. I never have to worry about health or rads, I kill a lot of crap easily, take almost zero damage from energy weapons & robots, have 600-700 carry weight, and it's just an easy build to run with. If you don't like my build, that's totally cool. People should play the game how they want to play it & do what's most fun for them. Anyway, thanks again for the comments.

Does spoil go to salt doesn’t stop it from spoiling it simply slows it down. If you don’t want it to spoil put it in the freezer use those points somewhere else. Carey only a few bits of whatever food it is around. Leave the rest in the freezer stop wasting points on stuff that is unnecessary. I mean, it’s your bill but much of what you’re talking about is inefficient And I’m all for the food bill. My main bill is a shredder build with every well not every but with any of the energy based or explosive ordinance based launchers, you know, I’ve got a God role AGL I’ve got a God role this launcher. I’ve got a God role. I think I have a God role mini nuke you know what I’m saying and There’s just so many good things to spend points on to make your build funner and yes, I run scrapper and chemist both on every bill I can fit them in because those are two things that you do a lot when I go back to camp I throw on a camp build that benefits everything I do in camp But when you’re out in or about, and you scrap some shit, you want more out of it if you happen to dilute or mess with some cams, you want to get double so I have that on every build I’ve carry weight for everything I carry I like convenience, but there are conveniences that make your bill better and then there’s just waste of per points Food is everywhere for my shredder bill. I go over to the dump jump inside kill the two I put on butchers bounty right for three points 80% chance to find more meat then I kill Bev clause server kill death clause server, kill death clause after about 20 minutes. I have my freezer full top to bottom With death club meat or I go kill my lark for four point endurance meat at Myer Queens I mean either way it’s one of those tasks that you do like once a week or something and you just grab a couple of hunks of each of those meat out of your freezer and leave the rest in there with 100% Not the king you know 100% just don’t make the silly mistake of going to a camp that doesn’t have that freezer because your meat will decay because it’s technically not in the freezer. It’s in your stash with a flag on it a checkmark on it in the database that says it’s in the freezer in this camp in any case good with salt. Here’s what I do have, though you know pharmacy and through hiker on my power armor, you know I have those cards right but then when I jump out of my power arm and I’m fucking around for a long time in camp, I have the refrigerated backpackcase I have some food in there. It will spoil some more slowly, but it’s not worth per card points.

I’ve never once used the right away at eviction notice where I have used it though is in radiation rumble you know those are you that aren’t selfish. They actually go collect the or we know that you kind of gotta clear your rads. You can do a couple of hallways maybe get three of them done and you got clear rats What rats help a lot but it will not. I mean the radiation you’re taking in that water in those tunnels is way way way worse than anything else anywhere else in the game so you know I clear a couple tunnels and then I drink a Coca-Cola grape. I don’t use right awaybut I drink a Coca-Cola grape or two and that clears everything all up but that’s the only place I really ever need anywhere else and I take a bunch of rats. I just let rats cleared away.

Again, my friend All those two shot weapons except for the launchers that’s that’s a terrible choice. OK two shot is only 25% more damage for the second shot versus getting something that does 50% more damage right now I mean two shot literally is 25% more damage. That’s what two shot means when it’s good when it comes in good is this a weapon is a launcher Because then you get explosive damage on both of them and that’s where you gain a lot but on gun shooting bullets, it’s useless nowadays been useless for years unless the weapon some weapons benefit from two shot explosive you know if the second star is explosive but for the most part, that’s not even good then.

You should never ever spend a legendary card on Christmas unless you’re gonna use all the part the legendary special cards And for heavy guns you should never use one in perception either so really you’re talking about strength, endurance, intelligence, agility, and luck, not perception, not charisma and you’re wrong where you put legendary cards doesn’t tell us where you’re using your points cause you can move them around wherever you want as long as that particular special is not lower than the five that you’re putting I mean, you can’t go lower than the five you’re putting in it but you can take those five and put them elsewhere like you don’t really need 20 agility so you put one in agility and you put those points somewhere you do need themI mean OK maybe you want a lot more AP so you leave you know the five in agility for a P but Christmas is a terrible place to put a legendary per card for your special

Funniest thing I’ve read in a while. I did bloodied for 3 years & got bored with it. The game has been out for 5 years & needed to change up it up. Have also done a full berserker build for a while to make it more challenging, had fun with that. And I’ve played since day 1 and have well over 10k hours in the game, so no offense taken. @@dustrho a KZbinr who's not a arrogant head up the ass know it all? Yeah at times it can get boring but I would prefer to do Max damage than I do no damage. I tried the second best thing a full health junkies build and even tried a juggernauts build and honestly without the unyielding and damage from bloody builds carrying my ass I don't really feel fulfilled playing the game knowing that I could be better. I'm going to objective person and objectively bloody builds are the best not just for damage but because they give you superhuman stats and it's objectively pointless to run any other build unless you want to try to have your own facade of diversity and fun. You had to hunt around and find them. Sometimes you had to get out of your power armor because you ran out that is not the case today now fusion course are everywhere your level 2400. I feel certain you have a fusion core recharger and you know exactly where all the fusion courses are you will you haven’t got to that point your bill but I feel certain you’re also running batteries included so you can carry pretty much as many fusion course as you find you pick up all of them your stuff the worst ones in your recharger when they charge you stuff more in the recharger and take the charge ones for your inventory and you don’t worry about using perk points or legendary perk points on fusion course shit cause it’s not important It’s completely insignificant now the impact of fusion cores on a power armor build is in significant even if you’re using a weapon that uses fusion cores as ammo, there are still significant sat for a number of fusion cars available around the game to keep your constantly infusion course.
