Sadly, Alice stopped singing after the 2017 release of her debut album. Between her auditions, album, KZbin, and two on 'SoundCloud', I am aware of a total of 26 songs and three interviews. Seriously? No comparison. Alice sings it in the spirit of the song and words. No one sings it better,not even the Jazz greats. But quite a few sing it better than Buble's cover here. Buble is a good singer, but his instrumental backing is badly mismatched to the song. How bad?...Parts of it sound like they belong to a suspense/thriller movie.

I was thinking the same thing Greg, the whole musical arrangement was so totally out of place with this song. It is a disaster. I t might have been better if a comparison could have been made using the same orchestration; yes he has a very good voice with clear diction, , but as you say the ending was like some crime thriller approaching a murder scene. Alice has a touch of the Peggy Lee in her voice. I hope you're familiar with that name, and singer.
