So Ali I actually just bought the £49 KZ ZS10 Pro IEMs based on your video on them! They sound amazing but I do get a static hiss when using them in my Evo 4 actually. Reading about IEMs tells me it's because they're sensitive enough to pick up the smallest electronic signal from the EVO 4. This is probably your issue with the Elgato amp you tried. I have fixed the static issue by buying the iFi iEMatch+ dongle which reduces the electronic signal passing to the IEMs. They still sound great! Also, I use the Shure MV7, the SM7Bs younger brother, and added a Klark Teknik Mic Booster to get the extra gain via XLR. MUCH cheaper than the Dynamite.

If you are patient enough, wait on the m3k (comes out late 2023). They claim the m3k’s cable will be as good as a wireless mouse (feels like there’s no cable) and even though they do plan on making a wireless version at some point when it’s possible, they say it would be kinda pointless because of how good the cable will be. I’m taking their claims with caution but even if it’s not as good as they claim to be, any upgrades from the m2k cable would be worth it imo.
@Inconsistense2 жыл бұрын
@@HeyNavi Hey, Thanks for letting me know, I might have to join the discord! Also I guess if they make it wireless it will add to the weight too, and that's the whole reason I am getting it to be honest, unless they could make it only add a few grams but just have to wait and see. Thanks again!

@@Inconsistense no problem and yeah the battery weight is an issue they’re holding off until they can stuff it with batteries that hardly add any weight. For the Wave XLR and IEMs, the Elgato software actually has a low impedance mode now for lower impedance ear/headphones. Could give that a try, otherwise a ground loop isolator should do the trick as well in getting your IEMs to work.
@saiverx2 жыл бұрын
5:47 It's due to the resistance/impedance of the IEMs. The resistance of the IEMs is higher than the wave XLR is able to output, creating white noise. On Elgato's wave xlr specs-page it reads: Maximum Headphone Port Output Level 77 mW @ 16 Ohm The IEMs I have checked out lately have a resistance of at least 30 ohms, meaning to power these IEMs, more power is required from the DAC/interface to the IEMs. As I understand it, its like putting a car in high gear (your IEMs resistance) at low speed (Your DACs resistance) and trying to get up a hill (Produces white noise because struggles). Your EVO 4's headphones out port supports up to 50 ohms, where the DAC output (on the back?) supports up to 100 ohms. I own a Roland VT-4 that I use for my setup, my headphones output support 24 ohms, meaning my KZ ZS10s produce some white noise while using it (these have a resistance of 30 ohms). The back of the VT-4 supports up to 1000 ohms, and while using the back I experience no white noise at all.
@trench61182 жыл бұрын
I have noticed a lot of white noise with the wave XLR using my thieaudio monarch mkIIs. I grabbed it when my motu m2 stopped working since it was available locally, but I really do need to swap it out. What is the point of having nice IEMs if everything sounds so messy
@saiverx2 жыл бұрын
@@trench6118 Exactly. I'm glad I own my VT-4 interface with the support for higher impedance, else I'd have to invest in something else... Audient Evo 4 output impedance is measured around 22ohms, which does well with headphones over 150ohms, the IE300 is 16ohms and therefore changes the frequency response when connected to the Audient Evo 4. Excellent and clean review as always. I would add a word of caution for those switching to in-ear earbuds for gaming. Some fps games have very loud spikes in the volume (gun shot, getting hit etc) which may consequently hurt some people's ear drum in the long run due to the enclosed nature of earbuds. I ended up with tinnitus from using earbuds and only recovered when discontinuing using them for like a month.

true. Those shots are hard and pointy. Very bad for the ears. I'm rocking the Apple Earbuds (3.5mm version) and that one has pretty good balance of a driver compared to my 2nd Sony earbuds. I play a lot of CSGO, and I recommend you to use loudness equalization, it lower the high volume stuff and enhance the low volume stuff, you get both less disturbance from high volume sounds like rifles spray or AWP shots while enhancing far away steps and small noises, it feels almost like a cheat code for the sound profile of tactical FPS! If you do look into replacing it, you’ll need to find a product with lower output impedance. Also, aftermarket cables are the way to go with the IE300, Tripowin Zonie or C8 are great and can be picked up for under A$50 on Amazon. If you could do your ergonomics for a new setup as well as updated desk setup that could be just amazing. I've watched a lot of vids and I can't find myself comfortable at all even by having amazing desk and chair. Thank you in advance

never seen completely black keycaps. I really like the vibe they give.

So your set up without the PC/Monitor is more expensive than regular players whole set up! Clap for the champ

Tried out like seven mousepads for gpro superlight with superglides. Finally found the one that feels consistent everytime. Glorious air with a little pledge before gaming. Very low static friction for micro adjustments and nice glide with a touch of control.

I just can't compromise my mouse not having side buttons, and I'm a palm-claw gripper. The ultra light mouse market is already lacking in big or ergo mice, I hope Zaukeonig comes up with something like that. I think you can cut the top middle of the mouse altogether with and just have the back and front for palm support, connected by the sides. Currently using TUF M4 Air.

I hope you have a house pet, if not I am worried. The chair behind you moves at 3:32.

Definitely recommend checking out o-ring mount and different plates for your Tofu! The harsh and stiff typing experience is partly due to the brass plate and tray mount

you gotta try the new wooting keyboards, i think you might appreciate the engineering involved in it and the slight competitive edge of the hall effect :o
