Not too hard to improve to his level once you eliminate input lag and play at high enough frames, and I'm not saying he's not legit -- quite on the contrary -- but there is a reason no professional player runs a 60hz display and otherwise subpar hardware. Low input lag removes the handicap and lets your potential shine through.
@rustler08

@@MrJohannson Actually, it is hard to get to his level...and I very much doubt you're anywhere close to his level. I know I'm not and I have had a low input lag setup like his for a couple of years. He's just built different.

@@MrJohannson That's BS lol. Vast majority of players got good on cheap-ass hardware while still living with their parents or going to college. Pretty sure that's true of this guy as well. The fancy low latency stuff came after because you start to notice the lag as your reaction time gets faster.

the fact that the Zaunkoenig even exists makes me very happy. The mouse market has become far too oversaturated with giant companies trying to out-safeshape eachother with little to no innovation outside of weight reduction and sensor speed. the fact these two german dudes managed to top the charts on BOTH of those while also innovating in shape and ergonomics is incredible and honestly gives me some German pride.

If you are patient enough, wait on the m3k (comes out late 2023). I’m in the discord and they said the cable will be improved significantly because the cable on the m2k is pretty bad and people definitely feel the drag. They claim the m3k’s cable will be as good as a wireless mouse (feels like there’s no cable) and even though they do plan on making a wireless version at some point when it’s possible, they say it would be kinda pointless because of how good the cable will be. I’m taking their claims with caution but even if it’s not as good as they claim to be, any upgrades from the m2k cable would be worth it imo.
@Inconsistense

@@HeyNavi Hey, Thanks for letting me know, I might have to join the discord! Also I guess if they make it wireless it will add to the weight too, and that's the whole reason I am getting it to be honest, unless they could make it only add a few grams but just have to wait and see. Thanks again!

@@Inconsistense no problem and yeah the battery weight is an issue they’re holding off until they can stuff it with batteries that hardly add any weight. So when (if) the wireless version does come out, I wouldn’t worry about the weight because their philosophy is to keep their mouses as light as possible and I’m sure they wouldn’t use batteries that contradict their philosophy.

Interesting about the white noise in the Wave XLR. I have a Focusrite Scarlett Solo and was looking to get a Wave XLR instead because of the amount of white noise I'm hearing using my IEMs (KZ ZS10 Pros, awesome recommendation by the way!) Perhaps I'll look at getting the Audient interface if there is no white noise in the IEMs. 🤔

So Ali I actually just bought the £49 KZ ZS10 Pro IEMs based on your video on them! They sound amazing but I do get a static hiss when using them in my Evo 4 actually. Reading about IEMs tells me it's because they're sensitive enough to pick up the smallest electronic signal from the EVO 4. This is probably your issue with the Elgato amp you tried. I have fixed the static issue by buying the iFi iEMatch+ dongle which reduces the electronic signal passing to the IEMs. They still sound great! Also, I use the Shure MV7, the SM7Bs younger brother, and added a Klark Teknik Mic Booster to get the extra gain via XLR. MUCH cheaper than the Dynamite.

Klark Teknik Mic Booster - yes, so many people throwing away money on a cloudlifter when you can get much much cheaper that are 99.9 identical

Pretty sure this one post just saved me hundreds of dollars trying to fix the white noise in my ZS10 Pros, and low gain on my Rode Procaster. Thanks heaps

You should do a video gear setup video. I'd really like to see that.

Was gonna say you should try a polycarb in your tofu, and then you went ahead and said the same thing. I find it perfect for that board, especially with some oil kings

Insane peripherals! Question though do you constantly switch between like mice, keyboards, and headsets to test the gear out say for content or for the company

Hey mate, the reason you’re getting the static noise on the Wave XLR is because IEMs are usually low impedance/sensitive and the DAC/AMP in the Elgato may have a high output impedance. If you do look into replacing it, you’ll need to find a product with lower output impedance. Also, aftermarket cables are the way to go with the IE300, Tripowin Zonie or C8 are great and can be picked up for under A$50 on Amazon. Kinera makes some comfy and quality cables too but they’re a lot steeper. Koala Audio Cables makes really nice customs (at least my for my over ear HD600s).

Having the whole Sennheiser IEM lineup i can say you should try the IE900 for sure. These basically made everything else obsolete for me and they are basically the perfect version of the IE300. Its expensive yeah but it brings joy to me every day. More then anything else in my setup i would say

Good luck finding an aftermarket cable for the ie300. Sennheiser uses a deeper mmcx connector. The only way you’ll get an aftermarket cable to work is mod the ie300s by cutting off the red/blue rings. If you’ve already done that, then you should be ok with aftermarket cables
