But the twist about this story is that he never really cared about Willow, he only used her like she used different people. And he was okay with that, when the disrespect was public and in his face, it was a step to far and he moved on. Nice twist and a likable MC for a change 😅

this George is quite calculative lol but it turned out because of him grown up with toxic relationship around him. he never felt the genuine love that's why when he truly fell for Ana, he got panicked. glad that Ana accepted him in the end. as for Willow. had she be a good girl, be patient enough, and never got sidetracked with other man. she would earned George. he would open up to her for real.

Does it mean, he created a persona that better took care of her, cared for her, loved her whole heartedly? Even if it's only for a show, he still got ahead and did it. Right? She still cheated, broke her promises, why promise if you can't keep up, and say it's a joke. Come on, admit it, she's just looking for fun, one nights and looking for excitement while mc is seriously devoting to a single person. He didn't hurt her, humiliate her publicly, or did anything to be sorry for her. He did say he got together with her became he liked her at the beginning but because of her constant cheating, and promising him, she will not cheat again only to cheat and humiliate him and breaking her promises time and time again that he just accepted she isn't partner material and stayed with her for the benefits. No away are both the same. One breaking promises and cheating, another creating a persona where you put away your preferences, compromise and crater to every thing for your partner. Maybe along the line of dating for 3 years, she found out about this persona thingy but not did he or she cared at that point. Willow really isn't honest breaking her promises, humiliating him and emotionally manipulating him. Cheating outright enough of him and humiliating him. Mc didn't do non of that. he just created persona to get love. And he was sincere in his actions, not half hearted. As for ana calling or not, I don't think he will accept willow. At best reject willow, at worse a fling. I don't see it going anywhere else. Here's the thing, even when mc created this persona, willow still cheated repeatedly, hurt him, humiliation him, mocked him, called him a simp. Doesn't this only prove that MC's choice at the beginning was the correct choice? If he has shown his real self, won't he be really really really be hurt badly by willow, battered and vulnerable? This persona thingy is just a kind of protective mechanism of mc, if the love works out between both parties they continue or leave each other dignity and part ways, leaving good memories. It's not like he's hurting or harming her. Willow, *sigh*-

What do you mean by happy ending? For George and Anna this was a happy ending. Only from the pov of Willow was this a sad ending, but what did she expect? She suffered the consequences of her own actions. If you mean happy ending as in "love conquers all." Out of all the stories I've listened to on this channel (a whole bunch) I've only heard one where the couple actually stayed together. There was no actual physical cheating in that story so they managed to work it out in the end.
