He could easily say “hey, I know you want that 800k house but let’s wait 2-3 years into marriage to buy that house” Or “if you want the 800k house you need to put half the down payment” We don’t know if he’s debt free or she’s debt free. We don’t know what either of them make. How much equity is in the condo and how much the house she’s looking to buy. This was easily one of the laziest calls and shows you why Dave matters. Never allow attraction to supersede alignment.
