I love hearing about the snake story lmfao. As someone that has owned snakes, it is super funny to hear stories from the pov of someone that doesnt own them. They are very easy to own, and I definitely would recommend them as a first pet. They can go without food for around 6 months, I believe, so just feeding them a frozen/thawed mouse once a week would be fine for them. Their waste smells god-awful tho.

Yes. Snakes can go without food for a couple of months but it is never recommended and the only time that should only happen is if your snake is on a hunger strike.

Those several sets of utensils are actually very intuitive, you just have to have it explained to you once. You just use one set of utensils per course moving from the inner ones right next to the plate to the outer ones further away from the plate. So for example if you start with a soup, you take the most inner spoon, then for the first course you take the most inner fork and knife, for the second course the second most inner fork and knife etc., until you've gone through all of them. Lastly, if there's dessert, there's a tiny spoon or fork above the plate for it. Same goes for glasses, you start with the most inner one next to your plate and then move outwards as different courses offer different drinks and beverages to accompany the food.

Considering rice is a part of every single meal for me (it's a requirement, not because I want them) eating those with a fork is not gonna be fun Also while it is intuitive, at the end of the day, unless you're REALLY particular about it, multiple spoons/forks/knives are wholly unnecessary

Often the utensils may be of different variations for different foods, for example a fish fork I believe is shaped differently than a regular fork, but also the main purpose I think is to avoid mixing flavors, like when using a fork with gravy still on it from the previous course on the next where the graby doesn't belong to the flavor profile. I THINK I'm also remembering special small drinks between courses specifically for resetting your flavor palette between courses so the previous one's flavor wouldn't mess with the next one's.

The snake thing reminds me of when I was at camp and I found a beetle so once the ranger came we asked if it was one that was bad for the environment so I got to go to the ranger office so I gave it to the one ranger who let me see the other bugs in the freezer to put it in and they said the one ranger didn't want his bread in there because of the bugs.
