My girlfriend and I took a nice ride down to Palouse Falls on the NC700x. It was a lot of fun and the bike was great. Definitely could use a better seat and bigger wind screen though.

Not a great 2up moto. I had one, added all performance mods and was far to gutless for freeway riding. Sold immediately -- after many bikes, ended up with an FJ-09. A good bike to swap back between sport and full luggage. Awesome for 2 up with Corbin seats and matching passenger backrest. Completed a 7,000 mile cross country trip and it performed flawlessly.

Look into a Tracer 900 GT. That might be a bit more comfy for her, and it comes with hard side bags, and all you would need is the top case/back rest for her. P.S. I love Palouse Falls!!! I have a friend who owns the old building on the side of the road in Ralston on your way there!!

The NC700x is good but just not enough seat space. Id get a goldwing if I could afford one lol
