Tim Allen starred in one of the hottest sitcoms of the 90s, Home Improvement, from 1991 to 1999. Actually, during a couple of scenes in Sid's room in this film, the tool box is from Binford Tools. That's the brand of tools Allen's character uses and promotes used in Home Improvement.

Toy Story is such an iconic animated franchise with some amazing characters which have become so iconic over the years till this day. The first one is great and I agree with you on the message of friendship which is so key in this film which is what the film’s about as it covers BuzzLightyear(played by Tim Allen) and Woody’s(played by Tom Hanks) relationship.
