Same, Del la soul, Rockers HiFi for instance, classic, we need more positivity, understanding and unity in today's society with the rise of global imperialism, society that is devolving into more suspicious, intolerant, selfish negative thought patterns turning poor against poor, working class against poor etc. Normalization of violence, sexism and pride in ignorance/judgement of those who look or dress somehow different, we need to allow ourselves to be human, to care about people, to be gentle, to love and embrace hope and kindness over rampant consumerism and mean spirited larger than life brutality of the psychopaths and sadists.

As someone who grew up on alternative hip hop like Ugly Duckling and Deltron 3030, let me tell you being a "nice rapper" and retaining credibility is actually harder, because it requires enough dexterity in terms of things like rhyming, flow, etc. to compensate for the inability to use profanity to emphasize specific bars (because profanity causes the listener's brain to jolt into alertness), rap aggressively to emphasize specific bars, use and vividly detail experiences with the hood to maintain artistic credibility (even on poppier songs which often have R&B singers on choruses or in instances where famous gangsta rappers feature on pop songs), etc...

@@R4t_L0rd.02 Drake and Cole have always been super cordial even when they didn't make music together. There are clips with them hanging out and shit, during periods where it had been almost a whole decade since their last collab. There are pics of Cole promoting "Honestly Nevermind" when everyone and their mama was shitting on it. Kendrick and Drake were close for a very short period of time in comparison. Cole was literally the Middle Child between Big 3. Super friendly with both and also although immensely respected for his craft by both, wasn't seen as the main threat or competition by neither Drake or Kendrick. I would say that DMX helped bring back that hard-core gritty street rap because all the money wraps and even some of the shiny suit face started to die out in 98 and DMX came on the scene and really blew it up and if you look at 98 into the 2000 there was a lot of hardcore shock rap and gangsta rap that was out there. However, I will also say you did have a mix of that R&B type rap from Nelly and Ja rule, but even they had a more thuggish looking image. The shiny suits pretty much faded out with DMX. The thing I say with 50 is, he definitely took it to new heights when he put out his first album. I would say overall, even since the days at the NWA, you’ve always had a balance of both gangster rap and I guess you could either say you’re more positive rap or if you wanna just call the non-gangster element of rap both have charted, but I feel they’ve changed forms overtime.

This shit should've stayed in the drafts, my boy. We have issues with Logic because he constantly brings up the fact he's biracial, but he is still a nice guy and has made awesome music, none of which was "corny" We have issues with Cole because he keeps turning on people he said he was riding with and making mediocre music nowadays with his change to going after other rappers, but he still made great music and is still an actually genuine guy, who just fucked up his rebrand. Drake is just...Drake, that's it, his ass should've stuck to acting. Also we've been done with Chance for a while with him trying to fake nice rap when he's kind of a proven asshole.

This makes XXXTentacion, Lil Peep and Juice WRLD are soft and corny. I swear some hip hop fans don’t know what they’re saying.

@@_Vaal_Hazak_ I know, but this video deemed anyone ‘soft’ who wasn’t a gang member. X wasn’t a gang member, but he did some illicit activities.

I had to stop the video around 10:45 because you pronounced "epitome" as "epi-tome". It's pronounced uh·pi·tuh·mee

I love nice rappers. I just don’t like „tough“ guys that fold under pressure like J. Fold aka. J. Cope
