You are great with recording and talking on your videos!! This is the first one I’ve seen pop up on my stream but I have subscribed now. I couldn’t believe it when you said you were shy!! You were trying something different from your previous video!!! You are really good!! I do want to tell you that I am more impressed because you are shy BUT you are STILL creating and recording inspire of how you feel!! Most wouldn’t even try no matter how much they want a KZbin channel… You keep doing what you are doing and I promise you will become very comfortable and will talk like you are just with a friend… I’m a newly retired teacher of JR & SR high so I have experience in what I see within you!! One piece of advice…if you see a negative comment delete asap and block the person… Then, try…really try to understand that their comments are NOT honest…they go to everyone videos just trying to upset people. They are not happy people because if you feel good inside it’s almost impossible to be rude or mean to someone. Keep telling yourself that it’s about their jealousy, unhappiness and it’s NOT anything about you or your videos! You really were uplifting and I feel better for having watched you. Keep up the great job!!

Hi! Beginner oil painter here to share some knowledge! Different mediums do different things! The two I recommend the most are: 1. Refined Linseed oil: makes your paint smooth and buttery, easy to work and layer with. Downside to it: it makes your paint dry slower. 2. Liquin/Galkyd: Makes your paint smooth, dries fast and improves gloss. Downside: it doesn’t get as smooth as it would with linseed oil. And always use odorless mineral spirits to clean your brushes! Turpentine is stinky and irrelevant, Gamsol is safer and can be reused when the pigment settles at the bottom of your jar. You can paint in sketchbooks with oils if you put gesso and remember not to put acrylics on top of oil paint.

Any brand of acrylic is good, from pro to student grade. But, avoid the dollar store one if you can.

Arches paper is so expensive. I would not use it on day-to-day paintings, maybe I should since I have the same pad for 3 years.

it is! I usually cut a thin strip of painters tape and place it down the middle to get two paintings out of. It’s lasted me for about a year now and I still have a couple pages left

It’s came with a bag I got, so I’m not sure, sorry! It’s one of those containers that have little plastic dividers, but I just took all them out to make the rows.
