This is exactly what I was thinking about doing on my boat before this season, not that I don't have the room, but why have to dig thru all the needless clutter to get what I am after. Thanks for reassuring me I was making a good decision 🎣

I live in and only fish florida. My plastics are: junebug, watermelon red, black & blue, ocheobee craw. For my other baits I have shad, golden shiner & bluegill colors … that’s it. If those colors don’t work the fish aren’t there or they are inactive. Topwater is white, black, bone. The one exception on plastic colors is for trick worms when bed fishing and your know what colors those are …
@Motorcyclewindtherapy3 жыл бұрын
Love that simplicity, Edwin. I recently built a basic boxes for soft plastics, spinnerbaits, swim baits, swim jigs, chatterbaits, and traps/cranks. I was surprised when I started noticing that my confidence colors - my must haves - in each box was starting to look the same. I suppose being on the AR/OK line it's easy to say geography... but I think I'd be like you if I did travel and still trust the same 3ish colors in every category. Thanks for the vids, as always. I'd say any boxes you wanted to show would be really helpful!

That’s why you do so well Edwin. You focus on certain things and keep it simple. I had a pro tell me once that if I focus on finding biting bass I won’t have to think as much about what to throw. Because if they are eating, they will bite a lot of things

Great tip...Thanks !!! I been trying in the last couple of years to narrow down...what I take to the lake. I find myself always using some basic color options all the time just a waste of money to buy colors I don't use. GOODLUCK ON THE 2022 SEASON..

Hello SIr. I just got my son a small pond prowler with a 30lb trolling motor to go fish some ponds near our house. He and I were watching this video about go-to tackle and would like to thank you for the awesome advice. Do you have a video for kayak or pond prowler fishing that would help he and I build a couple of go to boxes that are pretty condensed. For example... Should he have a box for deep water, middle water and top water? Or should we organize it in terms of color, or bait speeds, ect? Thanks Edwin. We are addicted to your channel. Lol. We live in the North Texas area between Eagle Mountain and Lake Bridgeport if that helps.

Thank you for these videos, super helpful! Would love to see your crankbait organization box or boxes to cover all situations. Do you for example have one box for shallow, mid, and deep, or three separate boxes? And then there is the top water “hardbaits” like poppers, Zara spook style baits, etc. Do you have a universal box for these to handle all situations or separate boxes. Thank you again for the information!

Thank you Edwin keeping it simple I'm learning that also.I have so many baits and colors and always seem to throw the same ones.Quick ? I wondered is it ok to take soft plastics out of packs and put in boxes? Does it take away from some of the scented ones like Max scent? And is it ok to leave in the boat in the elements ( heat,cold)

You leave your plastic in Plano boxes. Don't they dry out?

Great series. Out by me I live around a lot of cedar / pine tree water, basically tannic so i rely on junebug. I’m trying to keep my tackle boxes to 2/3 colors for all soft plastics. Otherwise it’s too overwhelming.
