Right on man! You did a great job explaining and teaching the technique, which is truly lacking in most other videos I’ve watched. They usually speed right over the most crucial parts where you feel like you only know less than half of what you need to. Lol It gets frustrating. Little things like explaining how you leave the bail open and let it sink to bottom, and then simply using your rod/rod tip to explain your retrieval method goes a long way. It’s very helpful! Thanks! I just subscribed and will be checking out your other videos.

Thanks for sharing your technique and knowledge of your work on the water. What water temperature are you fishing in winter. I’m in Colorado and yes we have some bass lakes that don’t freeze (not many) lol. Water temps are usually in the 30s on these lakes. Smallies, spots and largemouth. Any thoughts?

@@coloradoelkhunter7367 I could give you a long drawn out response, but I did actually just post a video going over some good tips and my approach at both smallmouth and largemouth. It should be the most recent full length video I’ve uploaded.

@ Thanks, I just ran across your channel today. Didn’t know what state you’re in as say Florida winter fishing is different from northern states. Just trying to make an adjustment on simple water temperature differences for my speed of retrieve. ✌️

@ it is very very different. But, bass have some general patterns and practices that I really tried to key in on for everyone

@@ImSmittenFishing yeah maybe I’m not clear. Just asking what water temperature range of winter fishing are you yourself fishing?

@ oh I’m sorry man, I guess I didn’t read your comment correct. But usually I’m fishing warmer bays holding at about 34-36°
