For all of Jeff’s talent as a singer, let’s not forget he’s playing lead guitar for the most part at the same time. That’s how unconsciously good his voice was

Jeff Buckley and his father Tim Buckley both released some of the most beautiful music and each possessed a haunting voice. Both died much too early, Tim at the age of 28 and Jeff at the age of 30. If you are not familiar with Tim Buckley I suggest you check him out when you can. Might I suggest "Song to the Siren" as a great starting point.

Jeff had an angelic voice that could also growl; he could do anything he wanted it to. "Last Goodbye" and "Lover, You Should Have Come Over" from him would be awesome. Reinforced head voice? King Diamond singing "A Mansion At Darkness" or "The Family Ghost" from Live at the Fillmore are great examples.
