Gopro 9 must be used with an adapter or media mod. Otherwise the sound is damaged. The sound is very muffled when wind reduction is applied.

A better compromise with mic is the Diety D4 Duo which has both front and rear mics plus 3.5mm input for another mic like a lav or Rode Wireless Go. Smaller than the Video Micro, and better quality than that little mic.

Im a newbie vlogger from Philippines. I have a hero 4 and thats what I use in making my vlogs and content. It just so happen that it suddenly stopped working. what settings were you filming at? when you were outside it looked amazing and i just gi my hero9 black and it has alot of "noise" to the picture

Here is a setting I like to use in low light. hyper smooth at high, 4K 30, Lens optional, shutter auto, EV Comp +1.0, White Balance Auto, ISO Min at 100 ISO Max 1600, sharpness Medium ,color-GoPro, RAW Audio optional, wind auto, you have to balance the protune settings for each situation.
