A better compromise with mic is the Diety D4 Duo which has both front and rear mics plus 3.5mm input for another mic like a lav or Rode Wireless Go. Smaller than the Video Micro, and better quality than that little mic.

Gopro 9 must be used with an adapter or media mod. Otherwise the sound is damaged. The sound is very muffled when wind reduction is applied.
