I just started a daily vlog but I don't have a lot of experience with cameras or film making so I got a Gopro 9 just to focus on getting my mind wrapped around the story telling aspect of a daily vlog--- how to keep it interesting and such. This video really helped me out! I've used the Gopro 9 for about 3 months now and have made about 20 videos. Now that I feel like I have the editing, daily vlog work flow and basic videography under my belt with the Gopro 9, I think that I'm ready to move onto a more serious camera! BUT I highly recommend the Gopro 9 for anyone looking to get their toes wet before they jump into the ocean that is VLOGGING. Thanks again! Youre a huge inspiration to me Casey and youll see it in my vlogs haha! Daily vlogging is exciting and encourages me to live a more adventurous life. I feel like I'm writing my own story. AND video editing is a pretty good skill to have! I can't say thank you enough!

Few more: Why is it crashing, much more often than one would expect. Why is the touch screen is super hard to use and will annoy you every day. Why the scheduled capture is not working. Of course GoPro won't admit it, but will "Improve" it with some not specified in time firmware update. Why the max lens mod wouldn't first screw to the correctly to the camera, after 100 tries and scrubbing metal from the lens body, it will eventually somehow will. Why is GoPro support useless and keeps repeating their scripts almost like bots.

See this is why Casey is so successful. Because he puts in the work. It’s takes a lot of commitment to walk to where you want to set up the camera, then walk back to a starting point, to be able to walk back past the camera to get the shot, then walk back to get the camera and walk to the next destination to do the same thing over again. Multiple times. So if you gather nothing else from these vids, gather that. It takes commitment and passion to get the hard work done. For him, it’s paid off.
