I totally agree with you and Queenie!! I have NEVER owned a pair of sweats in my life (I actually had to Google what they looked like to remind me what awful things they were hehe). I absolutely hate when people say I am overdressed or, "we are just going shopping.... don't dress too fancy." I don't even think I dress that extravagantly to be honest. I just think people where I live are used to dressing down and think if you are dressing up, it is considered snobby or something. I just love to look presentable and yes, as an artist as well, it's a wonderful way to externalize your creative spirit :)

Yes a simplicity pattern I believe but I never stick to the original pattern. It was just a minimal base and I built it up and tailored. I usually just wing it to get what I want

So agree, in regards to the make-up thing...im an MUA and while I was on a set, I was asked why im all dressed up(a woman, big surprise)....i was wearing legggings and a beret...lol...uhhh as an artist,you have to "represent" and I didnt go through expensive schooling to be shut down...dressing up is an outlet for me, as I know it is you.....part of why I love the goth culture. That victorian dress...omg, gurrrllll...I want that!

All through my 20's my prego friends were asking why I'm not having more babies and why I'm dressed in nice yoga pants and cute classy tops..... they never understood that I liked looking nice 😂. I'm now 4 years away from 50 and finally know what I've always wanted to be when I grow up. A GOTH.....HELLO ! Since high school when I met my first goth friend and my wardrobe evolved to nearly all black clothing. My obsession with black lace took over and I couldn't stomach anything more colorful than burgundy or deep beautiful nave blue. I've spent too many decades having to subdue my look but, I'm comin out. Got my first black, purple, and chocolate colored lipsticks and LOVE THEM 🥰! How can fun and classy be wrong 🤷🏻‍♀️

The most exciting thing happened to me this year on my birthday (46th) which was a month ago, and that was I received my first body part in the mail. I have my human skull replica sitting above where I sit and work to remind me to be me and not worry about what others think, as long as I am not hurting anyone including myself. Thank-you for sharing your beautiful wardrobe and I am looking forward to future sewing videos so I can build my wardrobe, since I live in a very small town the only items I can get to suit my aesthetic is to buy online and that can get pricey. We do have the same knees! (That funky bit never goes away🤬!) I chose to wear whatever I damn well pleased as a kid, as I got bullied no matter what for being “different”. If someone thinks I’m going to change my personal style just because of a number they’re bonkers! My sister is 10 years younger but dresses dowdy, never did anything fun with her hair, makeup. Guess who *everyone* (family, her friends) think is the younger sister? My entire family started greying at 16. I let mine go totally silver 5 years ago (but am always cutting it crazy), they *still* think I’m the younger sister! You always look fab in everything! Jet 🖤🎸🎶⚡️🦇🦋

I think you're adorable and fabulous! I hate my knees too. My family has thick legs and some have suffered from lymphedema. So swelling and stocky legs are genetic. I hate shorts and capris. I wish I had better legs. I don't even stress too much over my love handles and spare tire waste. It's my legs. So in the summers in the south it's blue jeans all year long. It gets hot! I love your look and your attitude! You're awesome Queenie!!
