This was a fine story. The main character got the ending they deserved. ....but the AI voice saying "straight ass!" gave me a laugh I didn't know i needed lol

These entitled siblings and adults.. that's MY MONEY AND I WOULDNT GIVE 1 CENT .......glad grandma who has the money knows the truth...always one kid treated less then..usually middle one...

Why didn’t they just ask grandma for money too instead of trying to coerce OP?
@southernflight507814 күн бұрын
They probably did. And grandma knowing that it'll just be wasted money, since people that throw themselves into debt recklessly would just go back into it again, decided against throwing cash into a burning fire.

Right? $25K a year for a "top" college sounds like a fantasy budget. 😂

This story is a powerful reminder of how life can take unexpected turns, even in moments of generosity and celebration. It’s inspiring to see how challenges can lead to growth and resilience. I hope the person involved was able to find a positive path forward and make the most of their opportunities. Wishing them the best on their journey!

Just wait for parents lose everything and start realizing they wasted money in a spoiled failure.

Whether it is a fake story or not. It carries a message. You are responsible for your own mess. Do not expect others to clean it up for you.

Interesting story, but there are things that make no sense. First of all they want to get the money from her. But how are they gonna explain that to grandma? She bailed because we wanted that money and she refused to give it? Grandma‘s gonna cut them off. Now she did give the money to them, what would they tell grandma? What would they tell grandma that she would actually believe? Especially considering that money was specifically given to her to pay that tuition. And then her brother comes in a wishing her happy birthday but it’s a graduation party? Whoever wrote this kind of needs to keep the stuff straight and iron out the wrinkles here.

I just checked, Brighton College full boarding for international student is 22,000£ - which is around 27k dollars, so its actually accurate 🤷♂️ rest of the world isnt a shithole like america

"He's now years older than me" Umm, the brother was ALWAYS years older than the OP, they didn't age at different rates. 30 seconds into this poorly written story and I am stopping.
