I love how this is the most accurate looking setup usually we see at home. Nothing crazy like all RGBs and fancy stuff. Just a simple setup of things that you use. Love it!

Love that you went to PC! I know Macs are industry-standard, but they're not equipped for 3D software (they have it, but it's painful to work in). As a 3D artist who (in the past few years) started graphic designing professionally, it's nice to have the versatility in software.

great video!! i need to mention tho, as someone whos been using model o since 2020 it was one of the main reasons (apart from my fps game addiction) ive started to develop carpal tunnel syndrome so for anything outside of gaming i highly recommend getting a ergo or vertical mouse. keep up the great work :))

Jesse, thank you for making these videos. I assume we're both close to the same age - I recognize that you take a realistic approach to what it means to be in design nowadays. It's not glamorous. I wonder. What do you do to make ends meet in LA? Are you all in on design, or are you doing something more stable and using design as an outlet and to follow your passion? I'm grappling with doing design on the side and doing something more stable like a trade job or working in a workshop (leather working, woodworking, etc.)

Hey! I full time freelance as a graphic designer to make my money. Design is a very stable carer if you are good at it. I also make a little money from the KZbin and patreon I used to work as a full time designer at various companies as well before freelancing

Yo Jesse, thanks for the great video. Do you still like your Acer monitor? I’m also into gaming and have similar pc specs. I’m looking to sell my current gaming monitor in order to move to a more color accurate monitor for graphic design work/gaming.

I feel you I still like it, wouldn’t mind a super crisp 5k retina color accurate monitor though. The problem is I like having the 144hz for gaming so it’s a trade off I guess
