I personally just do chain maintanence, oil change, brake oil change but I get a mechanic to do the rest of the more complicated stuff. But its great that Jodie has someone like you thats more mechanically inclined.

How's the front shocks after all those miles? I'll bet they need new oil soon. Liked the outcome. When it won't come lose, remove the whole thing.

Have you ever thought of teaching motorcycles maintenance to a group of enthusiasts? Worth considering.. For someone to get this job done via third party mechanic would have cost them some serious dough, can’t even think what Beemer approved garage cost would be..

Would love too but I would need some sort of approved up to date training I'd imagine. I'm mainly self-taught and use my car mechanical training. However, it's nice knowing i can perform this myself and save money. Having said that, sometimes it's easier to pay someone else, though lol.
