Omg it happens to me as well an I find it really painful an annoying because I can’t do anything about it. It is because of the pressure. Do you feel your braces are too tight or did the pressure increase recently? Hope you get better soon, I totally understand how you feel!

Oh thanks for sharing that, cause I was panicking a bit 😅 yes I think it’s from the pressure of my bottom gaps closing. I’m using salt water twice a day and already it’s less sore! Definitely try a salt rinse with tepid water 🥰

Its gingival overgrowth. Its normally plaque induced. You can get drug induced gingival overgrowth (but it also has to be in the presence of a plaque biofilm. Drugs such as calcium channel blockers, and epilepsy medications are higher risk. With your tonsillectomy it may he worth getting an immunological screen. An over active immune system perhaps? But not my area of specialty. Also make sure you have a daily dose of vitamin c as its not something you can store in your body and guys are constantly making new collagen (which requires vitamin c)

@Gg12481 nahh, think that would make everyone vomit 🤢 but I will try to vlog as much as possible through my recovery if I can of course, unless I feel too unwell.

I recently dealt with problems in my jaw lately as well, even though I don't have braces at the moment but I think I gave myself too much pressure on it. I had my tonsils removed when I was 4 years old and as far as the gums, I'm sorry to hear about your discomfort on them, you're not alone. Mine would bleed everytime I floss

I hope your jaw issues are better now!😊

@@AlexandraBhatti It's starting to but I need to chew into small bites and pay attention to my pressure on it too. I think I wore out the muscles on it

Did your gums bleeding until toothbrushing?
@AlexandraBhatti2 ай бұрын
No my gums don’t bleed. Just from the pressure of my gaps being closed they have become slightly inflamed.
