I am just begging for a MG 2.0 of the Ground Type Gundam and the GP Series Gundam. So far the Alex Gundam of the OVA Trinity got a 2.0 but the other 2 which is just as popular are aged to the point I'd rather a 2.0 right now.

Alex 2.0 was made for the anniversary of 0080 so I bet that the other ovas will get their new mgs then. I would love a new ez8, especially with the new hg ground gym parts

This is probably dreaming too big, but they could have MG 2.0 Ground type Gundam have included conversion parts to turn it into either the Ez8, or a GM-head to use in place of the standard Gundam head. Plus either included or as a separate item, all the optional weapons they can use. It could be quite a kit. The kit's box art could be an awesome picture of the 08th MS team in its entirety.

There's a pair of basic GM's that I just ordered, and will be repainting them as if they were repurposed for rescue purposes. Paint jobs more similar to U.S. Coast Guard and E.M.S. ambulance liveries.

The hg gp02 is incredible. Do you own it? It’s the only version of the Gp02 that can actually hold up its shield plus it has great color separation. One of my fav HG’s

My wishlist: Zeta with full transformation and Wave shooter option parts. Astrea, Exia with all versions. Tallgeese revive. La Cygn Gundam. Crossbone series with full core fighter function plus F97E and F99 versions. EMS-TC02 Phantom. All on this list as non P Bandai HG.

The Crossbone Gundams already have a HG though, no functional core fighter but that's the point of HG since its cheap.

@@barrybend7189 The core fighter of the Crossbone Gundams goes in much deeper than the G Gundams core fighter. The torso would have to be entirely hollow inside in order for this to work and plus it would be useless if you can't open the cockpit. That's where the RG got you covered in that so might as well get the RG then.

I'd love a revive Hizack so we could finally get a Hobby Hizack for our Counterattack collections. I certainly agree on the Revive GM. I'd love to see a new Zaku III too, and Gundam Alex. Basically any kit before 2005 could use a Revive, with a few exceptions.

You know what needs a 2.0 more then anything? The Kampfer, its up there with the Gouf Custom as being one of the most popular Zeon suits. Its still hard to find the original Kampfer in stock. As I see a ton of builders still buying them.

Kakarot, you are so spot on with all the kits that need revision. I have both the MG Zaku I and Gouf Custom. I got the Zaku I because I'm a black tri stars fan and the pictures of the kit made it look decent but the actual model has really awkward proportions, especially the gigantic oversized feet. I'm also a fan of Zaku's in general. I wound up using half the kit for a kit-bash project with a 2.0 simply because there is no good representation of this mobile suit in MG scale.

Can not help but internally scream YES! at MG 2.0s of the Zaku I and GM Custom! Been whittling down down my small plamo backlog during this quarantine, and I'm back to looking for more kits to silence the deafening boredom... Wanted to build up a MG GM Custom, and it's pretty rare as of April 2020; aside from a few hiked-to-heck ebay listings. NO SHOPS has this kit right now I'm finding. Have an option of a 2.0 GM Quel to look up thanks to this video. Still a MG 2.0 GM Custom is high up on my desired MG 2.0s(even though it will be a P-Bandai kit hahaha!)

There's the High Grade Revive for the RX-78-2 and now the Revival for the actual 1980s 1/144 RX-78-2. Before there's even a 2.0 for the Katoki version and a 4.0 for the regular Master Grade line. I wouldn't be surprised if the same is done for the GM 1, Zaku 1, and Zaku 2.

Some HG 'revive' kits I'd love would be, as you said, A HG GM (could have 3,000 re-molds, 1 out of 10 being regular releases). Also an HG Taurus and HG Virgo... I have a super soft spot for wing grunt suits. I know there are kits other people want, but man those two wing grunts (just in high grade would be absolutely fine) would hit the spot for me.

I'd love to see a MG 2.0 of the RX-79, you could use the same frame and most of the molds for the armor to create the GM, Ground Gundam, and EZ8 with minimal cost/effort needed to create the unique parts for each. Pair that with the Gouf Custom 2.0 and you've basically got an 8th MS Team revive right there.

I know I'm super late to this, but I totally agree about the MG Zaku I 2.0. I really wish they would include custom options, like the additional shoulder-guard and a command antenna. Also the joints aren't great on the 1.0 . It barely wants to hold onto it's weapons. Also, I can confirm that the joints on the 1.0 Gouf custom aren't strong enough to support the chain-gun shield for very long.

Your list pretty much lines up with mine, especially the Zaku I. I'm actually working on transplanting the arms and legs from a Z2 2.0 onto the body of a Z1. It's not as hard as you might think, but yeah, that MG Z1 is easily the worst kit I've ever built. The torso is fine, the head is passable, but the limbs are disgusting. Zaku I 2.0 is the most obvious thing Bandai could do and they just haven't for some reason. At least we are getting a new HGUC Zaku 2 soon.

In Gundam f91 the Jegan was heavily outdated and outclassed by the crossbone vanguard as we all know but we all know there was other high performance mobile suits from the past that were limited production , Ace units or Prototypes .... that said what units do you believe or can find evidence for might fair better in place of the Jegan? Ie: ReZEL , Byarlant Custom , Marasai or Rozen Zulu ?

Looks like they finally announced a 2.0 Real Grade for the RX-78-2. It's only a matter of time before the other real grades with the older inner frames are updated. Though I wouldn't be surprised if the Sinanju is the last Real Grade they update for a long while after they deal with the other older ones.

They need to 1.5 both Victory Gundams; just replace parts in the waist and hip sections for more movement and stability. Oh and also the hands so they can actually grab things (RE 100 Gun EZ) and the connection of arms to shoulders. Then that’s two perfect kits

I would love 2.0 kits of the Stardust Memory GM line (GM Type C, GM Custom, GM Quel). The newer MG kits of the 0080 GMs are great, and the regular GM 2.0 has been the basis for some great kits (GM Sniper, a few P-Bandai variants like the GM II, Semi-Striker, and GM Cannon). The 0083 grunts are looking a bit dated by comparison. Though I’ll still trade all that in if they’d just make a damn GM III master grade for once.

Any HG kits that you would like to get an RE/100 or MG treatment? question, have you ever considered doing a video on Tabletop/board games set in the gundam universe. I know of there are a couple from the 80's, but beyond a couple pictures not much else. It would be cool so see a spotlight on some of the more esoteric pieces of gundam media.

I'm with you on the MG 2.0 of the Zaku I, Gouf Custom, along with the GM Kai (ground and space types), and I'd like to see the GP-01 and GP-01FB the most get a 2.0 (since we technically got a 2.0 GP01/FB with the RG line).

Late to this party list lol.... I am halfway through snapping mine (with unbelievable amounts of sanding seam after seam...), I was pretty damn surprised the ALWAYS BULKY Zaku III is not on this list anywhere. Not even a "Hey, can we get a MG kit!?" comment. This thing is Circa 1999 HGUC #003!! I'll be kind and say at least it sort of looks like it should, but how bout a new Zaku III in ANY scale lol! Since we're all dreaming away --- other sorely needed 2.0/Revive candidates (including adding them to the RG line) -- Marasai, ALL the Dom's and its many variants (except HG Test Type Origin, which is brilliant), and the RMS 141/142 Xeku Eins & Zwei series from Sentinel. I'm also 100% on board the entire Ex-S/S Gundam revive kits, again.. ALL of them! And f-yes add the Hummingbird!!

Revive HG/MG/RG Devil Gundam. All we got were the 1/144 'no grade' and various action figures back when G aired. As the ultimate bad seriously deserves to be properly kit-ified (maybe even the Ultimate form too bit that's definitely asking too much)

i think the saddest case of "will not get revives" are probably the Hazels and the Jegans. While the Hazels are unlikely to get revives because they made so much new P-Bandai option parts that are compatible with those old 2006 model kits that making a revive of the Hazels may render those P-Bandai kits incompatible (unless they pull a witchcraft by making a revive Hazel that's compatible with ALL new P-Bandai option sets). The Jegans, oh my the absolute ton of variants they released of the jegans based on the original 2009 kit. I have no idea if we'll ever get a proper modern HG of the jegans because of the sheer amount of different versions they managed to churn out to this day. truly the epitome of a milked to death kit.
