This is starting to make sense... In the past, old hardware such as the Nintendo DS, old iPods, original Xbox, Playstation 2, and more didn't necessarily have the specs nor accessibility to internet as newer hardware. The closing of the Nintendo 3DS and WiiU's E-Shops basically acted as a knife to the gut for hardware that still worked and still held up to this day. In the past, older hardware would simply become obsolete and act more as nostalgia pieces. But as years will go by, each generation of consoles and tech that has support ended for it will still hold practical use in the modern world by simply jailbreaking them. *Modding will save future consoles from planned obsolescense, and tech companies will lose revenue to it because everyone will still be playing their favorite consoles with their friends regardless of whether or not support for them has ended.*

Nintendo land was my favorite game, 2nd was Windwaker HD (it was my first Zelda loved it to pieces), 3rd was def 3D World (I have so many fond memories playing with my siblings and cousins and even whilst playing alone, same goes for Nintendo Land)

I got the Wii U the year it came out after breaking my arm, and man did I love the ever loving shit out of it, I played for hours upon hours every chance I got, Nintendo Land, Windwaker HD and such, but in 2015 my sisters fought over the gamepad and it got slammed into the wall and it completely broke, so we had to get rid of it, but no GameStop or other place would take it since the gamepad didn’t work, so we had to lose the gamepad and just had the console (which was upsetting as I couldn’t play my 2 favorite games anymore, Nintendo Land or Windwaker I didn’t have a pro controller or anything just Wii motes) so all I could play was NSMBU, and don’t get me wrong I still had fun but after we lost the gamepad I lost most if not all of my interest in playing. Eventually we moved and let one of our relatives have the console, I’ve missed the Wii U a lot since 2015 and constantly feel nostalgic about it, but hopefully this year for Christmas I’ll be getting a Wii U, for the 1st time in 8 years I’ll be able to play the Wii U again, and I also asked for an sd card and sd card to sub so I can homebrew, mod, and download all the good Wii U games, Wii games, GameCube games, DS games, N64 games, Snes and NES games.
