My hair journey from start to finish; I hope you enjoy!

Thank you for filming this video. I shared it with my cousin. A little over two years ago, she was picked on/bullied while attending a predominantly white elementary school. There, along with the some whites, the few black girls at the school joined in or picking on/bullying my cousin or having short hair, cocoa complexion and full lips. She had no friends except for , amazingly enough, a white boy in her class. Happily, my Uncle's job relocated to the East coast and she attends a more diverse school. She has friends and is very happy. It's so funny how our own people will turn against you and join others (non black folks) in picking/bullying. You'd think they'd try to make her feel welcomed since there was so few of them. But no. Little cousin had no female friends. Just that one little guy and they still communicate to this very day.

I'm on year three with my natural hair journey and it's honestly the best thing that has ever happened to me. I agree with so many things you've said throughout this video!! I feel like going natural was more than just being comfortable with my hair it was also about building my confidence. Your hair looks amazing

I love this I being transitioning for almost a year now but I still don’t have the courage to big chop because I’ve always had long hair and I’m scared. My natural hair is currently around my necks, I could use some help on products to use 😁😁

What would u say your hair texture is 4b? Low porosity?

Janjay Spike I don’t hair type and never had a reason to. I don’t judge anyone who does, however. I do know I’m low porosity though. Knowing my hair’s porosity has helped tremendously.
