I deep treat with moisture before I clean cause my hair needs that kind of moisture after running it through water, to get the tangles out. Use a gentle clarifying shampoo and then apply a masque, and go about my day. I don’t condition when I have deep treatment masks and conditioning masks.. they do more then just regular conditioner so I make it the last step. I clarify 1x a month.

👩🏾‍🦱 hair I would limit the amount of times that you wear your hair up, if that’s something you do. That area is extremely fragile so any sort of tension or friction causes easy breakage

Try an EZ Detangler brush. The bristles move with the hair and it really shortens the detangling time for me and I have 4a/4b type hair

Do you have any suggestions for achieving volume besides separating your hair more and more? I have high density hair and my hair just doesn’t get bigger as the days go on and idk why 😣.
